I’m in the middle (week 5-6) of recovery from a stable Weber b fracture of my right ankle. I was excited to be cleared for WBAT in the cam boot last week, however I was having so many issues with the boot and not being able to get past 40% weight in it because it was causing knee pain. I ordered myself the Tayco brace and the difference is incredible! I’m excited to have a device that allows me to regain more confidence and mobility
Just came across this vid... Wondering where are the others in the same situation as mine. Operated on july 18th, still in a boot 40 days later, and questioning myself how come there is no better solution out there... All that, until i came across this TayCo ankle brace.. Thank you guys for doing so much for so many inconspicuous injured people.
Yeah, my Doc gave me boot that goes up to just below the knee only for Achilles tendonitis, but it threw my hip alignment off as I was recovering from lumbar issues! No way!!!
Getting a custom one done. Because the office ones didn't fit my ankle. So I'm anxious to get it. I had to wear the large boot because I have tinnitus on my left foot.
My thirteen year old daughter fractured the growth plate in her right ankle. She currently in a traditional air boot which is heavy and altering her walking technique. Could this brace be an alternative to the boot for this type of injury? This is a new injury so I’d like to find another option asap; im worried that her current boot will cause long term issues. Can this brace be used for ankle fractures in the initial stages of treatment and recovery? Thanks
From 2-8 pounds to 14oz, we hope the reduced weight of the TayCo Brace makes it easier for others to heal during recovery, and best of all keeps them walking in their own shoes rather than shifting the body/gait from a walking boot.
