600 miles of smiles on my Rave and it has been incredible. Suspension set on Normal and it’s deep without being too harsh. I’m able to use every bit of it in whooped out sections or big G-outs, yet attack most trail chatter at crazy speeds.
Going to install more aggressive carbides before the next ride.
    Everything Luke said and more!
    Tons of fun!

I like your video's and the one's on this sled especially. After watching all your video's on this sled, I ordered one for this season. I ride in northern Wisconsin mostly for the past 30yrs. I know my trails very well and me and my son ride very hard and fast but safe. I ride a 04 rev 800 and my son has been riding his trail converted 09 mxzx 600rs since he was 12. I bought it from a racer that got hurt before the race season that year. For the last 10yrs people have been trying to keep up with us and haven't. I'm 57yrs old now he 26yrs old. I been thinking with my age that I might need alittle help this season with more speed. I think this sled will help me go faster more easily. My son said it sounds like a sled he will be ordering next year himself. Keep up the good work.

Awesome first review. Long term will tell if the wheelie issue become a problem.
Like one of the other reviews, accessory windshield would be nice. And when the 600 comes to North America, I am.there to buy one. Didn't catch it, is it. Electric start only?
    Thanks again

I had Ski-Doo's and Bombardier's Moto Ski and most models ( not all) were identical except for the colours. Nice that the Lynx is a bit different.

I wouldn't be surprised if in Quebec they say it exactly like the pronoucation luke said Ravé but with just a regular (e) instead of the (é) :p

Jeah.. In Finland we speak language called Rally English. And here we call this sled as a " Ravé". You guys should call it RAVE. Ravé sound too gay.. lol Stay healthy and keep riding!

Love this video. I'm glad you like the "basic" gauge as well. If next season there's no boondocker 3700RE ill probably get this sled with a 1.75 track. Ride it on the sno x track as well as a trail ride. I also like the smooth panels more than skidoo stepped panels

Lynx Rave is more like the mx-z. Lynx has a "rival" to renegade and that is the Xterrain. Rave is designed mostly for trails and the Xterrain is designed for on and off trail riding. And they have even shorter variant of the Rave and it is the Rave enduro. It has 600 engine and it is 3300 long.

    • @percllee
      @percllee 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@hamag1973 I said Xterrain and Rave bc he thought Rave was like the renegade. Boondocker is like the summit, but that was not the topic

The Renegade is NOT a crossover sled. Skidoo no longer makes that claim. The Backcountry is the crossover. The renegade is a 137 trail sled. An MXZ is a 129, this RAVE compares most closely to the Renegade.

I've been a Polaris guy for 30 years and this is the very first BRP that has interested me, ever... I would buy one just based on this video alone. That says a lot!
Imo this looks like a new improved 137 crossover that would have competed with the Polaris Axys Pro-X - which they discontinued in 2018. Without the Pro-X, Polaris doesn't have a sled that competes with this.

  • @colelucyk304

That skid is like someone took the Polaris Pro-Ride chassis and threw the over tunnel shock under the tunnel. Very cool design. As a Polaris guy I could say i really like this thing

Great 👍 walk around Luke. The front end of that machine looks like an older corvette with that raised hood. The rear skid is very interesting if I ride local there’s no groomed trails they only groom in the highlands. It makes you wonder if there is more to BRP bringing this sled in, like maybe replacing a couple of sleds off there production if it sells which I think it will. Anyway thanks 🙏 for the answers I’m sold and your truly excited about this ride so that says alot in my books anyway.
