      Same here, it's hard to believe you're right outside one of the nations largest metros when wandering around out there!

      @@WanderingBlock totally awesome, we’re thinking tarantulas, coyotes, scorpions, lizards, bobcats, and even cougar when we see these types of desert hikes.

    This is a difficult range to hike, particularly Mid September when i always come to the Southwest from the UK. The kids are back in school, so quieter. I took a look around the Goldfield Ghost town. This place is never mentioned and i find it fascinating before only a short hike... too hot to venture far.
