This is a difficult range to hike, particularly Mid September when i always come to the Southwest from the UK. The kids are back in school, so quieter. I took a look around the Goldfield Ghost town. This place is never mentioned and i find it fascinating before only a short hike... too hot to venture far.

For being right outside of one of the country's largest metros it really does feel like a bit of an underrated gem.
