Great video. Any idea why they were protecting the crossing? It looked to be operating fine, lights were working. Was the gate arm missing on the close side? I couldn't tell from the angle. 🤓

Maintenance has been working in the area, and they usually have a person protecting the crossing even though it has been working. The order to do so was still in effect so the crew must dismount and protect the crossing even though maintenance was not present. Just following the rules.
