  • In this video you will learn how to create fun activities using Google Jamboard. Google Jamboard is a great way for students to collaborate on a shared space.
    Here is the link to my slide Samples as well as some Jamboards that I've created. Enjoy!

    I have 40 students in my class. Is this the best tool that I can use for collaborative learning?

    This is just what I was looking for with interactive games! Would you have an idea to maybe have a coloring page for a student?? I inserted a coloring page from Google but when the student colors it, the colors go over the black outlines.

      I know, sadly when you add a background it gets erased once you color it in. But they could outlined the picture after they color it. I did an art club and had them do self portraits by adding a picture of themselves. Once they finished tracing themselves and coloring they removed the background and it came out pretty cool.

    Hi! I wanted to ask you something. My class is around 30 students and I wanted to create a bingo card for each of them in the same Jamboard. Is that possible? Thank you!

    • @howtotechforeducation5706
      @howtotechforeducation5706  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So sadly at the moment Jamboard only lets you create 20 frames per Jam. So you may have to do two Jamboards to share with your students.

      So I put the link on the slide with the board game. You can just copy and paste it in a new tab. Let me know if you can’t see it.

    How do you, for instance, add emojis that hide certain questions, and then as the students click on it the question is revealed to them ...
    Thanks in advance.

    • @howtotechforeducation5706
      @howtotechforeducation5706  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, so sadly Jamboard doesn’t have an animation feature like Slides. So you won’t be able to do that.

    • @1111MMC
      @1111MMC 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could actually type out a question then download an emoji and place it over the question. The student would have to move the emoji (not click) to see the question.

    How do I add a link on the jamboard for my virtual dice?

    • @howtotechforeducation5706
      @howtotechforeducation5706  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So I just added the link to a text box. So far Jamboard doesn’t let you add a hyperlink. But kids can copy and paste it to a new tab.

      You can share it with them as a force copy. Here is video that can help. This video I made for Google slides but it works for Jamboard as well. You want to do step 3 in this video. th-cam.com/video/gebtEAoILcM/w-d-xo.html. If you want them to all together in one just share it so they can edit. I hope this helps.

    How students know if they have the incorrect answer? Do you go to check?

    • @howtotechforeducation5706
      @howtotechforeducation5706  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So, I just go around and listen in and they also self check each other. I do want to find a way that they can check the answers. I was thinking maybe using quizlet and they can use the flashcards so they can check if the answer is correct.

      @@howtotechforeducation5706 Probably assigning the role of a monitor to some students in the group and taking turns, but that sounds like a good idea.
