I knew the ramen and gnocchi was gonna be easy simply because there's so much variety to them, while roast pork and prawn mee are pretty much always the same taste

That was actually an interesting idea at the beginning, to eat someone else's favorite food.

jes is damn funny and relatable, lol. but it's true what the other commentators are saying - a bit unfair because 'ramen' and 'gnocchi' are wide enough to cover different flavours, and shao rou fan and prawn mee are single flavour. but still a fun video!
not exactly unfair, they were asked to write down their fav food, which could be any food even with variety. Jes and Chiara happened to have very specific favs.

Honestly, then Jes' favourite food was not honestly prawn mee pffft She should've chosen something more varied. Like "Nasi Padang" / "Mixed Rice".
Even Mandon's "ramen" is great cause there's really different types.
ebonyloveivory she could have taken Hokkien mee which is technically called prawn mee as well.

@@porridgeman the Hokkien mee in Singapore is dif from said prawn mee, AKA Penang Hokkien mee
@@dopiley I know. Hawker do market their food as Prawn Mee at times though. Example: When I google Prawn Mee, first result that comes out is Kim's Famous Hokkien Prawn Mee, not Beach Road or similar famous Prawn Mee stores.
@@porridgeman point being is that it is not generic enough for a dish. Regardless of hokkien prawn mee or penang prawn mee etc, *it is* STILL prawn mee 😐

Jes, word of advice. In case you're involved in this kind of challenge again, choose a meal that has more variety, for example: "Chai fan, burgers, pasta, pizza"
How bout y'all do a challenge where everyone has to bring their own containers/utensils when tabao-ing food

Actually right, it’s not fair cause john’s favourite food is gnocchi which is a type of “pasta” (not really pasta cuz it’s made of potatoes) so the sauce can be different which changes the flavour HAAHAHHA it’s like saying my favourite food is thick bee Hoon LMAO THEN POOR JESS HAVE TO TASTE THE SAME FLAVOUR EVERYDAY LOL

hi eatbook, i love to watch all your food challenge. i came across some food challenge on youtube and one of them is "Eating Only ONE Color of Food for 24 Hours Challenge" perhaps you can get your team to do this challenge as well.
Tried eating ramen for lunch and dinner for one whole week, and it was fine! But the bank account wasn’t 😅
I feel like I can eat Ramen every day cuz got different flavours unlike the other places

Always answer a food that has many variation like Yong Tau Foo, which you have many choices to pick from or pizza or sushi or mixed rice, there is so many types
my fav is 菜饭 because got alot of choice
meat and vegetables overall eat no Jelak

I would choose fried rice with no hesitation
Shao rou fan stalls are usually not open on Monday because the butchers are not open on Sundays, so they will not have meat on Monday

- No talking / Or expressing themselves with stack of some memes only
- Speaking their mother tongue only
- No plastics
- No social media
- No phones
- Using one hand only
- Vegetarian/Vegan
- How many scares can they get competition (Halloween)
- Talk in Shakespeare ish.
- Liquid diet (eg smoothies, bbt, fruit juice)
