What he said about chefs using blue plasters is true. I work in the kitchen. This is because blue colour is an unnatural colour that is not found in nature or most types of food that would be cooked, so when the plaster falls off, it would be very easily seen and could be disposed of.

Black got so much food! Black soya milk, black bean, Jja Jang myeon, black pepper crab. Squid pasta! Etc... blue is the worst! Can’t think of anyone!
👍🏻 for chiara for trying because blue food is rare. Mostly is sweet desserts. At least she cooked her own food on second day. But can tell she give up on last day. Butterfly pea water just pour on normal food 😂
White food allowed. All drinks allowed. There is so much white food! All drinks allowed! Could have blended so many things to drink. No one thought outside the box. Butterfly pea is good effort though.

I'm not sure if there's this soy sauce gravy dish, cooked with fish + 'vermicelli' at Singapore. We call it "masak kicap".
And also "daging masak hitam".

I feel bad for Chiara. Maybe it should have been colors that are common on foods, not necessarily their favorite. Either that or at least give them some sort of preparation.
Should have dropped out that color. Preferably make it red, brown (should be strict, not to include yellow & orange), black & green.

Chiara could have eaten white. White Chicken rice, San Lao Hor Fun, Bean curd, Dou Hua, Milk Pudding, milk, white sauce spaghetti, brie with white bread etc.

love these 72 hrs challenges
Black food: Sesame paste, Black beans, Squid ink, Black pepper (sauce etc), Black chicken, Charcoal activated food, Black fungus
Green food: Salad, Vegetables, Green Pesto (pasta or savoury meals), Fruits, Herbs (herb crusted meat)
Blue food: Blueberries, Blue Pea Flower, Blue cheese (white & blue for this video)
Orange: Spices (curry shown in video), Orange (fruit/juice/as a sauce for savoury food), Carrot, Pumpkin, Squash, Tomato cream sauce (for pasta or savoury meals)
Actually can't really blame them for it cause black and blue options are really almost impossible. John could've tried harder cause in my opinion, the fried chicken is not really "orange" and there are way more orange food options than he was getting. Chow really tried.

There are a lot of food that are black in colour. Like black rice, blackberries, black grapes, black sesame, nori hand rolls, black bean soup with black chicken. In fact, it has full of antioxidants.
There are actually enough black foods to last u like a week. Examples: black carrot cake, black chicken, black beans, squid ink pasta, Chocolate(dark), chocolate cake, black currant, black cherry etc. some of these foods are good for u too actually.
Nasi kerabu is bluee ! It the only blue meal i can easily remember
Black + white food (not sure if it helps):
Plain sushi
Black sauce chicken rice (idk if that counts)
Black pasta
Sesame ice-cream (can top up with pearls)
Dark chocolate
Or you get squid ink and dye everything black
Hafeez should eat nasi rawon, black fried carrot cake, sotong masak hitam, ayam masak kicap and for dessert he can get bubur pulut hitam. smh adoii
