Great job on the video! I was thinking of trying put a similar clacky build on a Monsgeek M7 I just ordered. Now I have a better idea what to expect from using polyfill in it. Polyfill is my favorite way to make my plastic boards sound fuller but I always wondered how it would sound on an alu board. Thanks to you, now I have a better idea!
@@keyblobsYou´re welcome! As far as the switches go, I´m kinda torn. I was thinking about using Nixies but I´m getting tired of using mostly linear switches. I think I might want to go tactile this time. Baby Kangaroos maybe? I´m not sure yet. What do you think?
Oh!! The gateron Quinns sound and feel really good :) if you’re into a medium tactile I highly recommend them! If not the kangaroos are also a good choice :D I heard they’re really crisp!
@@keyblobsI had never heard of the Gateron Quinns before. Thanks for the tip, I´m gonna look into those!! You take care, looking forward to your next video.
Nice build video! How flex is the keyboard with polyfill vs all foam? This is the only thing I would like to change on this keyboard, it sounds great but it's too stiff to type on.
Great video! I'm buying the LEOBOG hi75 kit but I can't decide between graywoods v4 and wolfberry switches. This will be my first custom keyboard and I can't decide! Which one do you think are better for thock sound? Should I lube them? In case, can you recommend a decent lubricant? Thank you in advance!
Great video!! I have a question, why did you tape mod like that? There's a specific reason? I always see people tape mod the whole bottom of their pcb. Thank you in advance!
Hi! Great video ❤. I've been on the fence about this board, but your mods have revealed many more options for me. I was thinking of putting in some more silent switches, so I'm asking: do you think the volume is louder or quieter after your mods?
@@keyblobs finally got the board. Had some trouble opening it, but finally got it with an icepack at the bottom and hairdryer at the top. I got mmd vivian switches 😄. Also bought some actual padding for the tapemod and got some polyfill stuffed in with all the foam + padding for the space bar and it sounds so marbly. I thank you and your tutorial for this amazing result! ❤
@vivianvainio7344 oh was the board sealed really tight? Wow that’s bad :( nice!!! The mmd switches are really marbly!!! So glad you enjoy your board :D thank you for taking the time to comment and watch my videos 🥹 really appreciate it!
Damn those wolfberry switches are underrated. Everyone hypes up the graywoods for being good value but wolfberrys seem really good too
Yeah I completely agree!!! Just have to lube them :D they sound and feel so great!
the sounds r giving me eargasms

Thank you for your kind words!!! Ooh nice! What switches are you pairing the board with? :D can’t wait for your build!

THANK YOU!!!
VERY NICE BUILD!
MERCI!!!
wow the last sound test actually sounds pretty good ._.
I know u like the ALL FOAM hahaha
@@keyblobs of course :)

Thank you for your kind words! Polyfill will help to increase the flex :D just don’t put too much of it!

Hi quick question, why did you set the tempest mod that way? Does the PCB need to be covered at the back? thanks!
The thock is impeccable
HEY YOURE THE GUY WITH THE NICE SET UP

possibly to cover those flex cut which may be the cause of the hollowness? those pcb flexcut with foamless sounds bad

Hey! Thank you for your kind words :) I think the volume is louder with the mods! Would be better to include all the foam for a more silent build :)
I have this board and I was debating silent switches..

Pretty hollow sound on the foamless version, thocky creamy is still 🔛🔝
알루미늄 보강판을 구입해서 교체해볼까 고민했는데 안사도 될듯 사운드가 상당히 맘에 드네요!
All foams is best. I just got this keyboard, my first mechanical board.
Nice! What switches and keycaps did you go with?
What kind of tape is that?
I remoce all foam and only use break mod , love it
Nice!!
hey could you tell me how to buy that model?
You mean the keyboard? :)
Dunno if I get this or spend more for the rainy75
I would recommend the rainy75 if you have the budget :) the weight makes the board sound fuller foamless :)
GOOD!
GRACIAS!!!
oh boy with my Gateron Milky Red Pros I wanna remove the foam for clacky reasons
You should! I suggest taping the flex cuts :D
no foams nice clacky
That’s more creamy then clacky
all foams sounds better
aluminum body is a completely different acoustics
Yeah! It’s higher pitched
its budget case, without foam is pingy trash
Yea adding polyfill helps

your mods even get the sound much cheaper. lol
