- In this How To video we install cheap custom gauges in my 1978 Dodge W200 Power Wagon!
When you don't have time to source all new factory gauges or install custom gauges in your dash you need to think outside the box. I needed gauges to support an upcoming road trip but the standard 3 gauge console available from most auto parts stores looked cheap and didn't give me the additional gauge flexibility I needed. Therefore, I decided it was time to make my own using a combination of budget friendly gauges from Autometer's Autogage lineup. For me I wanted larger 2-5/8" but the ability to add on for 4,5,6, etc. gauges to the standard console. Here's what I did.
All parts were sourced from Summit Racing
Here's the parts list breakdown:
2-5/8" Fuel Gage - Autogage 2315
2-5/8" 3 Gauge Console - Autogage 2398
2-5/8" Gauge Bracket (Single) - SUM-G2991B-1

Great job on that gauge mount.
Still should have installed those 58mm turbos on the mustang
Lol some say that 5.0 is still spooling off in the distance
