Bhaaisaab! The more I listen to these episodes the more I realise how much intelligent and amazing individuals are there around us which don't get discussed in mainstream media. Please keep them coming.
Such a thought provoking and insightful conversation.... Thank you barber shop team for bringing such interesting, experienced and wise guests with such helpful outlook towards seeking people like us.
I rarely leave comments on YT videos but such a high quality conversation! No faff. I will probably re-watch it a few times to continue absorbing. "Leading people and management" has so much irrelevant content online that it is pleasantly refreshing to find such gold content :)
I have watched so many episodes of yours with others but this and Adi sehagal was amazing. Get many people like them as they have delivered so much and young generation needs this to learn and not what is happening today and start up bubble.
Turned off lights, poured myself a drink and listened to this at one go on a sunday night. I felt myself saying words like "ooh" "yes" "correct". I felt like being in the conversation there with Shantanu and Arjun. Shantanu jaisa bano na bano, Arjun jaisa friend jarur banao😅
Outstanding Shantanu and Arjun, what else can we ask for watching these podcasts for free of cost. While returning from my short trip in bus from donegal to dublin , I enjoyed every bit of this podcast.
I couldn't stop myself from mentioning comment here. This was eye opener episodes in many aspects. I am regular viewer of this channel who is trying to figure out about himself. I just love the content of this channel. Thanks a lot shantanu.
I thank you both & your team 🙏🙏 From my bottom of heart as our startup is at transition from bootstrap to state level now as ceo I have to make team for next 5 year road map This video is my COMPLETE GUIDELINE for hiring team LEADER ND MEMBERS AND as a young entrepreneur your team and channel is my roal model or u can say virtual guru 🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏 I hope soon we can meet nd pitch my startup ...
OMG! What an excellent session this. Lots of learnings. Types of Luck Spelling of love is T-I-M-E FAIL - First Attempt in Learning In the end everything will be ok. If it’s not ok, it’s not the end. Thank you Shantanu and The Barber Shop Team and all the great guests. Eye opening, insightful and incredible!
What a conversation. Pure wisdom, highly relevant, @shantanu your timing is so right & lucks on your side, getting this high quality content across, kudos 🌀 Arjun Purkayastha (普艾君) one of the most engaging talks on the barber shop. The part on transformation of the founder at different stages of the organisation was the highlight for me. Delighted !
The moment Santanu Sir said Jharsuguda, I'm just awestruck by learning that he knows about this place which generally people don't know about. A proud viewer of The Barbershop from Brajrajnagar, Jharsuguda, Odisha. Keep up the good work Santanu sir and the team, I watch all your episodes and I have learnt a lot. Just love, respect and more power to you all.
Wow!!!! Shantanu what an episode... Just mind-boggling how you and Arjun touched upon a variety of topics which stretch way beyond the start-up ecosystem and can be applied across. Keep all the Gyan coming as I feel you have just got started. Best wishes for the genuine effort that you are putting in to help people unearth some great insights and learnings.
Wow, what a beautiful & enriching episode. Loved this episode. Mr. Arjun is definitely Corporate Baba (Saint). His knowledge, intelligence, rich experience & what an amazing individul. Thanks for sharing.
Wow... What a podcast.... It's been a while since I have watched something where the learning is immense. Thank you Shantanu and team for bringing Mr. Arjun, such a seasoned man... Thanks a ton.
Great episode again, loved watching. Would like to get more on ‘0-1’ wisdom as I believe that is where the most help is needed. Things like how to approach friends to join, crack the first customer, deal with frustration etc etc. the ‘0-1’ founder may find it difficult at present connecting to this dialogue.
Man I am 18 I am also from India run an agency rn 0f $500 mrr and building product . It is great to see that barbershop is building that entrepreneurial ecosystem in India .
I rarely comment. But I'm compelled to do it here. It's quite a privilege to be able to listen to and learn from experienced folks like Arjun and Shantanu. More power to you !!
I have been a big fan of your content and this too is a much deeper level of conversation. Appreciate you and your team for that. One positive criticism, if you feel there's merit in it kindly consider - kindly do not eat those snacks during the take or during the conversation the sounds are too irritating and distracting; if possible mute them; they kind of give disinterested kind of a feeling..
Hi Shantanu, Iam from retail. Your shaving foam has a lot of area to improve. I purchased 2 foam and they do not work from day1. Kindly look at customer review, Gillete foam works till last press
Business in India or in any other country is very localized and Commonsensical, what indian mbas tend to do is they intellectualize everything and bring a lot of jargons and business english to make them sound different from the common people and give them a sense of being premium because let's face it india is still a very racist and colonial country, on the contrary business demands very basic commercial mindset, a sense of urgency and ability to look at the bigger picture and be grounded to the realities at the same time, these behavioral or soft skills hv hardly anything to do with english, rather english is a handicap, business managers should hv business owner and founder mindset rather than be some english speaking front desk person

So true man!

I think good bosses are brilliant communicators. They cut out the red tape, reach out directly to you to understand issue and have empathy.
