Cool idea; but would have probably turned out better if you poured the entire course, covering all your inside transitions, then making little planters or barriers that you could move around and rearrange the track.
Brooo kind of like an inside track. But outside that’s actually a dope concept. Like if you just have a nice square concrete portion in your backyard somewhere you can just bust out some custom pieces like hot wheels and assemble different drift tracks
Great idea! This is probably done by now but I imagine it'll need redone in a few years. Next time get some old wire fencing to use as a rebar substitute and you can rent vinyl forms that are flexible for a more squared pour
Now that’s dedication to your hobby. If you ever decide to add on to it you should spread the concrete out with your trowel then use a 2x4 that’s as wide wide as your track width as sort of like a floater to smooth it out evenly.
Looks really good guys!! I was a bit concerned though...did you use any brickies sand or aggregate with your cement mix? EDIT: All good I can see you did...Nice. Try Micro racers... They'd be ideal for your design man
i'm a map builder for a game which died, anyways i've built mimami tons of times you laid it out wrong but you know what its a team effort and you at least can go outside and use some RC instead of doing it in games good job
Hahahhaa y'all need to use a hand float ( magnesium float) first to work the Crete to make it flatter. And as it sets u can start using your steel trowel..... A nice 5 or 6 inch wide pool trowel ( round trowel) is best for wetter setting and it's a cheater trowel good for begginger. A square trowel is best for harder setting..as it leaves trowel marks when wet ...... But definitely could have use a short screed ( straight edge board ) like a 2x4 to make it have a better plain over the length of your track.....it's painful watching this!!!!! Lolol. Good luck.
C'monnnnn I was totally hoping to see more videos of this course. looks super sweet!
Wheres the follow up video guys?? Looks sweet I wanna see some driiiiifts!!

This is freaking cool following!
Good stuff Neve 👍 keep it up!
U need more recognition, this is amazing!
Might be a good idea to paint the concrete so it’s a bit smoother of a surface make it more controllable when your drifting

You should use a wet sponge to smooth out the final finish

If your on Canada Ontario near st Catherine’s welland thorold Niagara Falls deftly gotta drift
