Elf Detective should be on Netflix or making it himself in my opinion. I feel like it would be super interesting and putting it in places like Nickelodeon would probably ruin it
He might pich a new show to nick first, maybe due to contract reason or because nick is the most likely to green lit his shows

There is a comic called "Ben 10 / Danny Phantom: 5 Years Later". It's a comic made as a continuation for both series. Yes, it's fanmade, but it's so well done it could be canon. Should definitely check it out. It's an amazing crossover (in terms of writing, history, characters, etc)
Elf Detective looks cool. I'd prefer to watch it either here or Netflix, and I don't really want to have to turn on Nick or Disney. And if it is well received, you can easily make another season, unlike with a TV channel where they would need to green light it first.
It could also be made more teen-ish, where they on Nick/Disney it would probably be very childish and cringey.

If you do the detective elf thing, I hope you go a bit darker and more serious with it than your other shows. I'd just like to see how you'd pull off a more dramatic show.
I agree. I think it'll be interesting to see his serious side since it'll have a different atmospheric tone and it would probably attract a more older audience. Either way, I'm just happy he has new series in mind.

To be honest, you the only reason i started animating! When i grow up im going to make a show called Fangstar. It's based on a cat that lost his fang when he was just a kit. Thanks for inspiring me! Wish they put Danny Phantom on Netflix.

How do you have like 10 million billion ideas for shows and pilots when I have two (2) kind of maybe decent story ideas in my head whats your secret
Jennifurr most ideas are stolen and or inspired by other shows usually. Danny phantom can easily be related to ghost busters. Tuff puppy is just an animorphic inspector gadget. Even bunsen is a beast has a my gym partner is a monkey vibe where a human seems completely unfased he is the only normal one and his friend is a complete goofball that thinks everything he does is par for the course.
Well, you gain a lot of confidence that your ideas are good when you create something as iconic as the Fairly Oddparents
You've got to learn to not shut ideas down too fast. When you take away that filter that makes you think ideas are stupid, you'll start producing more and more. Sure you'll still get some bad ideas but you'll be coming up with way more good ones that you might have shut down in the past
He's also had tons of years of life experience which heavily contributes to your art and ideas
Like he said when inspiration hits write or draw it down. As you go along the idea will develop ; don't be afraid to put yourself out there and at some point someone will take notice and help you get even better. Take classes to get better and learn need styles that you never knew.

My drawings from middle school-Sophomore year of high school make me go "Oh no, what is THAT?" because I did not know how to draw body types very well, and they had noodle arms! I'm now a college student in my second year, and my drawings look pretty good now. I'm working on different poses and training myself to think 3D/real life instead of just 2D and flat. Your videos help me out with seeing different ways to do various things, and encouraging me to try different things.

You know, I grew up on watching fairy odd parents and danny phantom when I was a kid, I also used to think your style was just simple shapes. Now that I watch some of your youtube videos, I respect you even more as an artist.

I went to look at my old art. Like dear lord I cringed so hard I probably got sick
@6:50 idk why but this part of the video really hit me. This was possibly what made me start to forget/stop drawing in any free time I had. Not only had I found several new interests (thanks to the internet), but also due to my self image being so broken back in high school, seeing as how most of my drawings were mostly inspired by/copies of other people's work, I lost my confidence, thinking I can't draw original content and I sort of gave up. I still remember whipping out my a3 sketchbook in class whenever I got the chance, and I'd fill the entire page with whatever came to mind. And I've gone through that sketchbook again after several years and seeing all those old sketches made me remember how much I loved drawing. Now I can barely think of what to draw if I were to be given a pencil and paper other than clothes (which style I'm not even really fond of bc it's my current job). But then hearing how you copied and experimented with Energy Mass made me realize that I actually had a lot more room for improvement and I was wrong in thinking I was nothing but a copycat. I lost my spark for drawing a long time ago, whether or not it'll ever come back, I don't know, but I hope it will, hopefully once I find a better job where I don't work 54h/week and wouldn't dread coming in every day. But watching your videos and strolling back down memory lane, learning about your side of the entrainment industry, as well as hearing about the journey and the advice you and your guests gave on speech bubble, it really inspired me to try and be more creative and hopeful in the goals I'm going after.

I love to draw. I am a kid, almost 10 years old and i like to draw anime and random cartoons. My favorite thing to try to *Attempt* To draw, are real things. I *cant* do realism drawings amazing. i try, and i am working on it. one time i found a old paper that i *tried* To draw *TinkerBell* (A fairy) On, and i was a little baby kid, i thought i was a amazing artist, but now, i think it looks like crap, it is a stick figure. I also Made her say something in a speech bubble, but i can not read it. so...I am improving from stick figures, to cartoon, to anime. But as i said, I can draw nice things, and people ask me for drawings at school. One guy tried to pay me.....I gave him the drawing for free, anyway. My friends give me some of their drawings, and tell me to recreate it in my art style. Wow. I wrote alot.
