If Nickelodeon isn't gonna do anything with Danny Phantom, they need to just let it go and give it back to you.
Yeah, I agree. What worth do the rights have to Nickelodeon if they do nothing with them? At least with Avatar/Korra they've been publishing comics for several years, but with Danny Phantom? Zilch. Either do something with the franchise or sell the rights to someone (like Butch) who might create something new with it.

Dark Danny was one of my favorite characters, when Danny unleashed the Ghostly Wail, UGH, one of if not the best moments in Danny Phantom, ever.

I figure Dash will look one of 2 ways, either as a mega-tough football player (maybe with robot parts) or an out of shape bum who injured himself during his first pro match and had to drop out. Paulina I imagine looking like a Hollywood babe still trying to seduce Danny. Valerie I'm curious about.

what would be cool is that his body increased in size after dropping the suit and grow into a new form, maybe ghost age by their own emotional, skulker becomes less relying on weapons, amber lets go of her attention of others, hell this can connect with how danny gets his new powers
Ember McLain obsessed with Danny Phantom? I have to admit I wasn't expecting that, but it would be interesting to see. I guess that means Ember would show up in Amity Park more frequently just to get Danny's attention. Ironic, isn't it? Ember has the ability to hypnotize others to become obsessed with her and turns out she's the one that becomes obsessed, with Danny nonetheless.
I really like the music chart idea and hope it gets integrated in the future and perhaps mixing it up with her obsession with Danny. I think it would give Ember more variety of attacks and she would be more dangerous since she wouldn't have to rely only on her guitar.
I really like this idea. And tbh the idea of her being obsessed with him would just realize my own hope 😆 I liked the idea of them together tho honestly.
I LOVE Phantom Rocker and I would absolutely root for them to get together in some way if a reboot or revival were to ever happen.

I would watch a new Danny Phantom series, this was my favorite when I was growing up and I would love a more adult gritty version. Dani was my favorite the whole crew was good. It would be amazing to see what happens next, or years later I would love to see Danny and Sam in a real relationship and see how the world you created has changed and grown.

I 100% believe you should get the rights back! Danny Phantom as a series was one of the best parts of my growing up, now I'm 22 looking back at one of the shows that shaped who I am today. Seeing a revival of some kind made by the creator himself would be the most exciting thing ever.

I love the final Dark Danny design, very Green Goblin. I'd love to see him make a return, struggling with his mental state. the half Thermos design is pretty cool too. Also really dug the Ember one, that Danny Pantom guitar is killer. Now I'm imaging her hovering outside of Danny's window with a boom box in the air. XD

my favorite box ghost moment was when he saw his bounty at the start of the pandora's box episode, and he read it. "Not wanted", and the bounty was 2.50 or best offer. I still laugh at that moment.
Glad I stumbled on this video series again! I absolutely love Danny Phantom, it was my favorite show as a kid. Now as a guy in my 20s just like Danny, I would love to see a 10 years later series! Thanks for making these Butch! So cool to see these ideas!

Its not so simple. The intellectual property is likely still quite valuable and the very last person some executive wants to sell the rights of an IP to is the original creator since they are the individual most capable of actually doing something to bring that IP back from the grave thus making the party that sold the IP look like a fool for letting it go when it was obviously still valuable.
Also a creator alone can't just whip up a cartoon out of thin air even if he magically had the rights. He would need a dedicated team of creative talent and the services of an an animation studio aka like 5 million dollars to even get started with a shoe string budget.
We live in a sad world where intellectual property is almost always removed from the hands and control of the geniuses that created it.

She changes her Heavy Metal looks to Punk-esque attire, yata yata yata. Evil Danny escapes, goes around absorbing other ghosts evil sides and afterwards absorbs Embers evil side and ultimately turning her good, for good. Reborn Ember and Danny in their last ditch effort combine their powers (Ghost whale+Ember singing and rocking the guitar) and at the end Evil Danny is obliterated into nothingness. Pls notice.

Getting picked up by Adult Swim (under Butch's wing, of course) and getting a bit grittier, to appeal to its original, now older audience, but with the same heart and soul underneath. If you got the rights back you could pitch the show to Netflix and bring Danny Phantom back, and do a 10 years later version. Also love your work have been a fan for so many years. I grew up with Danny Phantom and would love to see what you would do with it now. I think you also stoked so many shipping flames with that comment of Ember being secretly in love with Danny which I find hilarious. Last thing, Skulker is a robotic suit, so I thought you would do something with the little Skulker inside of it but I do like the designs you did.
