Pantheon Week 4 Full Completion (Nezarec Sublime) [Destiny 2]

- Destiny 2 Season of the Wish - New Pantheon Activity Full Completion Week 4 Nezarec Sublime (Raid Boss Gauntlet). Just a video showing our playthrough of the newly added raid boss gauntlet "Pantheon", clearing the 8 bosses from this week, the final week. Details and timestamps below.

Fun week, and decently challenging this time around. We had a couple of bugs and crashes we ran into this week, and Atraks we had to come back for again as we didn't get enough points despite the platinum time. But the rest went decently well. I cut out all the downtime between each encounter so it's just the boss fights themselves.
Encounter changes:
Golgoroth:
A few new enemies spawn. Ogres during add clear, Disciple Knight before DPS, and a few Taken enemies spawn up top to chase the people with the gaze.
Caretaker:
A few more enemies again, but the biggest thing is the Caretaker bees also spawn in the rooms with the symbols and chase you there.
Explicator:
Incendiors now spawn at the top areas. Colossus enemies spawn with shields. A Tormentor spawns in the middle after swapping all of the planets. The fire tornadoes can now hit you during the add clear section, and during DPS he spawns them on all 3 plates each damage plate.
Atraks-1:
Tormentors now spawn before DPS (both bottom and top).
Oyrx:
The Lighteater Knights now continually respawn. A Tormentor spawns during DPS. Two Shades of Oryx appear in the bubble.
Rhulk:
A second clone of Rhulk appears during the top area of the boss fight.
Riven:
Adds spawn more frequently. Minotaurs spawn behind the plate in the rooms. The boss takes largely reduced damage on the bottom floors.
Nezarec:
Standing on the plates for too long causes a big AoE attack that stacks pervading darkness. Colossus enemies on the sides now have shields that require the buffs to be able to break them. Colossus in middle has turned into a boss.

Hopefully they keep the 0 damage phase during rooms once Pantheon is done.
@@soldado23 actually a solid fix i wish we got earlier, all they did was give her crazy damage reduction on the bottom floors. Such a fun fight
being forced to do the mechanics just shows how uninteresting the fight has always been either way
You are talking about the cluster mechanic?
Honestly the mechanics aren't even hard (while down 20 light yeah its hard to stay alive same time) but the mechanics are pretty straight forward, just require a lot of participation which is why people fail.
wow!! it takes me two hours top solo a dungeon esoterickk shreds everything hardley misses a shot. but i am 63 reflexes not what they used to be. once again love watcing you videos
Took my lfg 6 hours but we got it, that was the most fun I’ve had since 390 light raids in age of triumph. We also missed the atraks 500k by like 15k lmao
one of the hardest raid challenges I’ve attempted in years. Bungie did a great job with Pantheon. Ended up getting the emblem after about 7 hours
Yeh we missed atrax by around 50-60k and thats with our warlock fucking up the tormentor kill we shoulda wiped then :/

@@andrewtampubolon6833you don't need to kill tormentors as long as you a floor atraks, the bonus time more than makes up for it

@atomiste4312 Literally just came from redoing thag encounter twice, we were off by 3k points, I think we do need the tormentor to die

I still wish we had Spindle instead of Whisper, the sound was far better with Spindle
My team's currently stuck on Rhulk lol, I can't wait to fight Riven. Pantheon's so much fun.
Great video. Great run. Could you tell me what aspects and fragments you're running with Sunbracers?
Most important aspects are touch of flame and heat rises, fragments are the one that gives class ability back on scorch, and the one that gives melee energy killing scorched targets

Did you guys not get High Score on the recorded Caretaker here, and had to do another kill? Your total points seem to be around 468k, but I thought you needed 500k?

I think this is the strat for nez dps. 2 wells. One at top and one bottom and the bottom well having a tractor and fusion rifle.

Yes but teather is a better option so they can do damage

@@dyliep8897absolutely not . Especially with solar surge , tractor still better .. plus season artifact debuffs anyways so a tether is utterly useless and wasted damage
@@dyliep8897a good loadout might be a lucky pants + wardens law, with a tractor. Then swapping to a nighthawk on last plates.

Well, that settles it. I'm working offshore right now. I won't be able to play Destiny again till mid June. I'll miss the chance to play Pantheon since it's going away. I'll forever be jealous of you, ESO. I really wanted that emblem, I thought it looked like the old Valour in Darkness. But oh well. Had to be there I guess.

Yeah sometimes you kill everything including tormentor and even time score boost you can’t get enough score after 1 floor

I just can't get the Caretaker damage to go so far with my team. We know about the gate but damn we never go this far. Is there a certain pattern in which to damage?
He takes extra damage for a few seconds after the faint yellow bar of health is depleted, so usually it’s heavy first plate, edge the bar on second plate, then dump everything third
Do as much damage as you can on the 1st and second plate on the 1st floor, even past threshold.
On floor 2, damage him to threshold but don't go past it for plate 1-2. then on 3rd plate, nuke him with everything. (proc shot caller if you're on week 4, class ability buff week 3 and under, before and in between plate changes)
Doing this, you skip floor 3 and go right to final stand.
You want to make the boss go up to floor 2 as soon as possible after just 2 plates if possible. You not only save some time on the bonus, but you'll also skip the 3rd floor which can be a pain to keep up with with a ton of ads and big gaps in the floor.
Your team should have enough resources to burn the boss on floor 2 with the 3 plate method.
Doing the 3 plate method on floor 1 exhausts your ammo and time.

Nope, has to be in two. Cheese still works however.
Can you still get the triumph on Nez even if you 3 phase him?
If u do the other encounters first otherwise u need to 2 phase
How did you get plat despite the timer going off??
Cause the previous bosses account for Nezerac’s score, plat is essentially guaranteed no matter if it takes a 2nd or even a 3rd Phase. The timer for plat only matters IF you’re only running Nezarec via CP.

so you dont need to defeat nezerac within the time limit to obtain the high score right?
No because since he is the final boss you get like 2 mil points with is well above platinum
You can 3 phase nez and still get plat since it's the last boss, it gives bonus points. But you only get these bonus points if you started the pantheon fresh and did every encounter beforehand without going to orbit.
How do they make so many heavy bricks? I can’t even do that with Cenotaph
Ceno + Aeon Gauntlets
As long as your have teammates running both of those exotics, you can get 2 heavy bricks for every Tormentor/Ultra killed. 1 from Ceno, and 1 more from the Finisher w/ Aeon.
I had a few teams on Rhulk running both exotics and I was able to get 10+ Heavy Bricks before DPS even starts. It’s ridiculous.

That run should’ve gave you the high score triumph for Atraks since you got 500K at least. Weird that the game didn’t accounted it for that attempt…..

@@thebhoy8561 atraks plat is easy, only problem is the score, which you have to deal enough damage for the high score triumph.
Do you need to kill the tormentor on atraks to get plat?
If you don’t want to kill the tormentor, you have to 2-Phase for Plat.

Our team encountered a bug. passed Atrax for platinum, but the game did not count it as a triumph. Now we're stuck on Riven) Pantheon is very painful if you go to platinum
Yeah same, had to get plat on rhulk twice to get the title. Painful but worth it
Platinum and High score have 2 different thresholds, I’m not sure what platinum is but the high score needs to be 500k hope this helps :)
so the triumph is for high score, not necessarily platinum time. you need 500k for the high score in each encounter, getting the platinum time will give you a 360k bonus to your score, which is why when you go plat, you almost always get the high score. but if you dont reach 140k durring the encounter then you can get the bonus time and not get the triumph. happens alot on attraks because you dont kill that many enemies to build score, and he is easy to melt so less overall time in the encounter.
That’s why you always save an Atraks checkpoint just in case
im stuck on explicator with lfg ever fucking week just last night 3 hr on planets today another 3 and you out here doing the entire pantheon in just over 2hr i hate lfg so much sometimes
We did a comfortable 2 phase but using apex with bipod/reconstruction. Add clears ran exotic primary and finders for heavy. We did it pretty comfortable

You do a full run the last boss is a guarantee platinum score on any of the runs. That why people keep messing up high score on Atraks, cause week 1 it was free.

People with a stable and good team have all the raid exotic, and literally shard every weapon. No rewarding activity.
For the others pantheon is simply not possible to do.
For us the title is the reward.
whisper is free, apex predator is free, lfg destiny is popping off. you're the problem, not pantheon

@@DL-Davide the good thing is that you aren't forced to do this. For me personally I want the title, the activity is hard but not impossible. I'm lfging and it's been going well. Regarding your original comment, pantheon is possible to do for "others" as a couple of my f2p friends who picked up the game around 2/3 weeks ago just finished week 3, enjoyed the hell out of it and now are planning a week 4 run. Can't do it? Don't do it.
