The thing with churidars is the tear from the thigh area when sit down for some women. You can only stand and sit on chairs while wearing them.
@@snowworld1641 that's very true! What you can do is, buy leggings which are straight and ankle fit rather than having extra chudi around the ankle. Will work. And next time if you ever make a chudidar from tailor, ask him to take correct measurements so that it won't tear apart. I hope it helps ❤️

indian wear is not for just occasions, many people wear it every day (to work also) from saree to kurti. And they carry handbags and yet also look classy and elegant. Most Indian are not celebreties or from royal family, where they have someone to carry their stuff.
few points are good. Confidence matters alot in carrying any dress.
I mentioned carrying clutch while you are going for an occasion. Handbags are equally appealing. Just don't carry wallet. I appreciate your time 🙂

I guess I am guilty of several of these offences 😂. I prefer leggings because I don't like my legs swimming in yards of fabric. My sasu ma wants me to wear every possible jewellery, always keep my hair open during weddings, wear lots of bangles and highly embellished heavy sarees. Kya karu?

All great and impactful points. I keep in mind most of these tips, especially the one with small prints and slightly loose fit with kurtas. I'm 5'2" and big prints just drown me and make me invisible. BTW I laud your confidence on telling women to groom their hair and you're like "mai to messy hairdo me bhi cute lagti hun" 😅😀

What is your take on mangalsutra as a neck piece on Indian wear? Any tips?
Hello Bhumi.. well ofcourse. You can layer mangalsutra in many ways.
Just keep the length parallel to other necklace if combining with.

Another question, you said in your video that wear one jewellery piece. So, will wearing mangalsutra with some other piece look gaudy or not? How to not make it look gaudy?
@@bhumijoshi8952 Its Mangalsutra right.. show it with pride I ll say. If you want you can turn in into bracelet so that it's always with you plus not hindering your style quotient if wearing it is a compulsion.
Lastly, if you have mangalsutra then avoid heavy earrings. Keep your neckpiece as your focus point.❤️

Your bag option… I don’t agree with that,nice sturdy satchel bag looks very sophisticated with suits be it Anarkali or straight or even casual kurta shirts, clutches are only for formal parties not for everyday

I have another challenge which seems very specific, but I seek your guidance... I have a round and chubby face (am quite heavy and working to lose weight this year, but until then ke liye...) and curly hair. I have no clue how to tie my hair with salwar kameezes so I usually end up with a pony tail? Kuch kar sakte hai kya is baal ka? 😅

No dear, we can take it across our body as well as hang it on either of our shoulders,,
Recently I have bought a small size sling bang in which I can carry my mobile, some cash, keys, medicines etc..
Either I can carry it in my hand or If I add the long strap, it can be hanged across the body or any of the shoulders .
Yes this works if you want to keep your hands free😊
You take it elegantly one one side. Either of the shoulder.
