Agreed! Never a good look. Not sure why Snyder can’t just make a competent movie in the first place anymore. Look at Lord of the Rings. Fantastic movies with and without the extended editions/directors cuts
I've seen it. Without going on a rant, no. Definitely not a 5.5. Perhaps a 3 at best. Too many things in the film just do not make sense. There are far too many fetch quests and we are not giving any insight into *why* this characters are any use. Yes, we have a prince guy who can tame animals. Yes we have a lady who can fight with glowing swords. Yes we have a washed up general who surrendered and feels guilty for getting all his men killed. Yes we have the main character who does not have many defining features except info dumping. None of them are going to be able to defend a village from overwhelming odds. Especially from a star ship that can just nuke the site from orbit in passing. A part two has a LOT of heavy lifting to do and now it has less goodwill to work with. This is a story that has been done far better than many other films.
Damn you’re going with a 3! I mean your explanation makes sense in all fairness and you’re not wrong! I went with a 5.5 in the end because I did enjoy some of the film, even though it was a huge disappointment and I definitely agree about the whole defending the village point. Makes no sense. I will still watch part 2 on release but I don’t have much hope for it! I doubt i’ll ever watch the snyder cut but who knows, maybe i’ll cave one day haha
@@JacksonM91 No worries. I think I would go with a three because I had hoped for better, and it failed( for me) on every part. I get the feeling the actors did a good job with what they had to work with. I've seen a couple of clips of Kora's fight scenes at normal speed and they actually look not bad. Apparently the actress did train for them.
Announcing a director cut before release is all you need to know that this is bad.
