    TH-cam is a powerful platform to learn anything and it is thanks to professionals that condense years of wisdom and knowledge into great vids like this, many thanks

    Discussion - rather than Talked to SME/Technical architect/Developer
    Iterative - rather than Design/Requirement (meeting)
    Documentation - rather than post on Jira/Confluence
    Presentation/Walkthrough
    Complete the workflow or close the gaps - missed req.
    Next step / Review - Come back to you
    What would be helpful - We should do this

    I particularly made a search on how so speak like a BA and only your video popped up on Google with the exact content I want. For someone transitioning from a totally different career path with a totally different lingo, this has been an immense help. Everyone just says to learn it but no one actually shows you the how. I wish you had more videos like this. Thank you so much

      Glad you like the video! Start switching out the words whenever you get a chance and after a while it will come naturally!

  • @bambiiieyez

    Thank you so much for your words of wisdom 😊#4 (I'll create documentation) is especially helpful, as many times me and my peers would get feedback to improve our communication in board meeting calls, because we weren't keeping it "high level" -- but no one would really explain what that truly meant. Now I understand what that actually means; being concise is more effective than being detailed in this case

    • @karaleise
      @karaleise  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There you go! Thats it!
      In a strategic level conversation you have to be skillful enough to bring the point across without getting everyone bogged down in the minute details.
      Glad this video was helpful for you!

    I really don't know what this vid is about ( regardless of its title ). If you are a BA......You Talk Like a BA!!!! Those who are in the know; and interviewing or meeting with a purported BA, hear through the spoken, and body language, through the wardrobe, etc...straight to the acumen. All the chucking out of "terms" does not make a BA!

    • @milesblue638
      @milesblue638 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's the de-professionalization of everything. Might as well call this, "How to sound like a BA (even if you are not a BA)." The "fake it 'till you make it" mentality won't serve her audience well.
