In my opinion pre-Injuries he DRose especially his peak which was his MVP season, he probably would end up the greatest pg of all time and arguably be up there in the goat conversation if not for his injury coz he was emerging in the basketball world drastically like a storm that's really 'bout to take over the whole league, come to think of it in his 3rd year he was the youngest MVP, he was battling with Boston and Miami big 3 in ECFs, that's how gifted and talented he was at a young age with basically no secondary all-star teammate. His skillset is something like of an human anomaly. It's saddens me that we weren't really able to see what a "Prime" DRose would look like but at the same time fortunate to say as well that we have witnessed his best first 4 years and really made a mark in the basketball history.

I love DRose and that Bulls run was incredibly special but he had holes in his game. Athleticism alone can’t propel someone to those kind of heights.
Even if he stayed healthy and won the rings, he still gets passed up by Steph Curry. Magic and Steph are locked in at 1-2 in the PG GOAT conversation. If he had longevity maybe he could be in the argument for Top 5 but Goat? Absolutely not.

I'm bulls fan from the Jordan era. When I seen D rose I said if LeBron is the king then Dereick Rose is D-Emperror. That dudes game was seriously amazing.

D Rose used to go at all the top guards at the time (CP3, Rondo, etc). His play def elevated like put some respect on me.

Derrick Rose is one of those athletes that was so ridiculously explosive his body itself couldn’t keep up with him. If his knee ligaments never broke down he would’ve ended as the best PG of all time.
He made other NBA players just look like they were standing still.

Know what it was? HE FROM CHICAGO!!!! They breed nasty ballers for real man!!! But for real D Rose was fast, athletic, had skill and his work ethic/confidence was insane. That man was giving the heat hell. He was damn near being triple teamed.
