Just bought Coleman chd-700m and I have always wanted one but not willing to pay high price specially if use it for summer camping . Since I’ve heard noises before outside the tent but not willing to give up my sleep to find out 😅. So here we are now. Looking for batteries 🔋 rechargeable and sd card . Circle 10 processor. Hope I can find all these today
Hey guys! I would like to know if it is possible to reset a trail camera every evening .my situation is that I would like them to monitor only in the evenings when there is no conventional movement .
Hey guys, I'm new to using trail cameras. Do you have any recommendations for extremely hot and sunny areas? Are there any brands that seem to perform better in the extreme heat? Of course I plan on utilizing the shade as much as possible but any other tips would really be appreciated. Great job, thank you.
We have never heard of any brands have troubles in the heat and they all do about the same with the sun. Placement is probably the most important aspect. It is best if they face north or south, so they are never directly facing the sun.
@@BlackOvis Actually in the summer heat out in West Texas, most brands of trail cameras give you many blank pictures (false triggers) due to the pir sensor not being able to discern between the hot background brush/grass temperature and elevated temperatures of the animals. So if the pir sensor senses background movemovement in the wind, you get consistent false triggers in the heat of the day. My experience is that the G series of Stealth Cams perform better than the many different Browning cameras I use.
I noticed there are 2 sim cards stacked on each other behind the battery tray. One has spypoint logo and the other is AT&T. Is there a way to cut spypoint out as a middleman and just insert a sim card from a cell phone and just call into it with the number associated to the sim card we use?
I was think of getting a couple of these to catch people dumping trash on video on my property. Any advice ? Could be left let side for a long time I do not want lights on it
Yes they can all be left for awhile. They won't have lights or a flash, but they do have infrared lights which can be sometimes seen on cheaper cameras. Here's a few options that have no glow bulbs: www.blackovis.com/brands/stealth-cam/stealth-cam-g45ngmax-26mp-trail-camera www.blackovis.com/brands/stealth-cam/stealth-cam-g45ng-26mp-trail-camera-combo
I forgot my password for my camera, so can't reset settings, nor do I remember what I had them set at. It's been awhile since I've used it. It now seems to be corrupting SD cards. It's a Gamekeeper 1080p camera. I've been trying to catch a racoon on the camera that I evicted from under the house, but I think the corrupted files made me miss that viewing. Bummer. I also have a Walmart Stealth Cam that isn't corrupting my SD cards, but isn't nearly the quality of the Gamekeeper.
Do trail cameras record? If I were to use a trail camera to see a fox how would u personally set it up Can I use a usb pen to get the camera footage onto my laptop/pc I’ve got a usb pen, the camera, aa batteries, sd card, is that all I really need to set this up. Does the camera only use the batteries when it catches something? How long can u leave a trail camera and what is your recommended time u leave a trail camera Those are my questions great video
Yes Trail cameras record video or images. The cameras record onto an SD card so you can just plug that into your laptop It always used batteries when on but uses let when there is nothing setting the sensor off. You can leave the camera as long as you would like to, batteries should last a few months. If you want for info on how to set them up watch this video or give us a call: th-cam.com/video/nn_oxhajGvw/w-d-xo.html
Hi. Are you able to view the camera footage from the app when within the bluetooth or wifi range of the trail camera when it is switched to the ON position? Mine can't detect the camera wifi when I hit the wifi button when ON.
More MP is the biggest joke in trail cameras. Pay extra for features like no glow & extended detection range. Most important discussion about cameras would be the flash options, trigger speed, & camera range.
Another good tip would be cover your scent in your trail cameras. Use anything from nature. Or use scent cover spray on your trail cameras. Animals have great nose and they can smell your trail cameras and your greasy fingers lol
my cam doesnt do anything. I dont see any lights turning on... or any of that. This pisses me of to no end. Feels like im scammed. How the hell does a trail cam work. I smashed one out of frustration thats how mad i am.
I'm looking to buy my first trail cam and would like something user friendly, any suggestions?
Take a look at these! Great bang for your buck!

Not that we know of! But it would be worth looking into more!
Do the cameras only go off / record if they pick up movement?
Yes that is correct.

How do you link a camera to your phone?! I cannot find anything explaining this
It has to be a cellular camera. Give us a call and we can walk you through it. 801-559-7556
Does a lithium battery last in cold? My experience with photo cameras is that NiMH last way better.
From our experience lithium batteries perform best in the cold. Let us know if you have any further questions.
