Cody should drop the title to KO. Saldy that cant happen anytime soon cause of Randy, Cena, Cody and The Rock. Always the sad fate of KO. An i dont need KO as a transitional champion too. He needs the WWE title in 2025
What if... Kevin Owens turning heel is Cody Rhodes big challenge as a babyface? As a baby face you need to come up to the challenge and make the heel pay for his actions. If Cody can show and exude him self a perfect victim in this scenario to the fans then he still will be able to maintain goodwill towards his fans. As for Kevin Owens he should dilute his goodwill towards fans by ramping up his neglible actions by doing things he'll know the fans hate.

Cody being forced to turn heel would be absolutely hilarious considering that’s the one thing he’s been fighting tooth and nail to not have to do both backstage and on screen. hell it’s apart of the reason he left AEW lol they tried to get him to turn heel there but he wanted to be John Cena, so he jumped to the promotion that needed a top babyface, only for him to be made to turn heel anyway lol. i just wish Cody would realize he’s a natural heel, his heel run in ROH was legendary.
I think the best of Cody is yet to come. We saw glimpses of his brilliance as a heel in his early career, but this time it's going to be special and if done right could cement him at the same level of the Tribal Chief. Imagine Heel Cody vs Babyface Roman, that would be nuts given how over the two would be.
Actually, no, he doesn’t. The referee can be outside the ring and counter pin so long as the competitors are fully inside the ring. It is preferred for the referee to be inside the ring with the competitors, but in that situation, he actually doesn’t need to be. I can remember quite a few times during the heyday of Ric Flair where the referee Counted a pinfall from outside the ring so long as he was near the competitors to where he could count the shoulders and the competitors were fully inside. It’s rare, but it has happened. Everything else you said was definitely valid. The fans have been slowly turning against Cody anyway even before the Kevin Owens situation.
@ I see your point though. I just thought the referee part was “I’ve seen that happen before many times.” Just shows I’ve been watching that business way too long! Been a fan since December of 1984.
@ but overall, I liked your video. Fans have been slowly turning against Cody since shortly after wrestlemania. I personally think it started with the AJ styles feud.
You are older school than me! Wrestlemania 5 was the first thing I ever saw. Also you’re right, AJ was the first cracks. People wanted a great follow up feud and not a match with handshakes.
@@WrestleChop yep. And that “I quit“ match was so unnecessary. The rematch should’ve been “last man standing.“ And yeah, I was old enough to have seen the first wrestlemania. I just missed the first Starcade in N.W.A./WCW by two years. And yeah, I was around to see the territory days in real time! Lol!
Cody should have been the one to stand against Roman when Roman returned. Now Cody is just a guy who happens to be champion. KO could be the reason Stone cold returns at Mania and extenuate the use of the Stunner. Then KO uses the Piledriver against Roman to write him off after Mania as well. Cody needs to really quit playing to the kids and get back to the edgy side of things. Cody has lost that chip on his shoulder since he wears the Chip around his waist now. Just like in AEW his biggest match was years in the making. Rhodes vs. Rhodes was a gem because we as afans had been waiting to see what they could do together and it blew away anything the Usos have done together at any PPV. Sorry for my long take. Not very hot anymore, but this is where Solo has to now target KO and start carrying the Winged Eagle himself. Gather more heat, write KO off till rumble and the have KO win the Rumble to then have a triple threat match between KO, Cody and Solo at Mania for the Winged Eagle. Have Solo say something about being the ONLY person in his family to hold both the prestigious Winged eagle AND Ula Fala at the same time, and now he wants the Peoples Champ. Thanks for your time and sorry for the lack of flow in booking.
I feel like ko didn't do anything wrong because cody teamed with the guy who tried to end his career. Its like captain America teaming with Ironman, then teams with thanos. Kevin was never the bad guy. You can't trust Cody, he's more like wolves in sheeps clothing. Except for the pile drivers but yeah.
Honestly they should've just given KO the title at SME... KO could've had a nice little 2 month reign and defended it a few times before losing it back to Cody at RR. I wish they would bring back short title reigns and competitive feuds man.
Oh I'm all for the KO problem...there certainly is one but I disagree about it being a problem for anyone but Cody. And even he will probably come out stronger because of it. This feud isn't just what KO needed, it's also what Cody needs...he's been acting too damn perfect for too long and that only works for so long, it was only a matter of time until the cracks started showing. In fact a small minority of Cody haters already voiced them even before the feud started, so I think it was extremely smart (or fortunate, depending if it was planned) to have KO profit of this inevitable turn, having him be the one pointing it all out in storyline before the fans turn on Cody themselves. I think Cody needs to re-align his character sooner rather than later, and this storyline of having to face his hypocrisy in the shape of Kevin Owens might just be what keeps him interesting and makes him grow a new dimension to his character. And let KO take the title from him to protect him from any potential hate...don't give babyfaces year-long world title reigns! Heels can cheat and you keep watching to see if someone finally beats them, but babyfaces just become annoying over time because rooting for the predictable outcome just isn't that much fun. It's not smart to book the babyface so strong that the heels become the underdogs...a lot of that also falls on the "wrestlemania to wrestlemania" type of predictable long term booking that I WISH they'd finally stop doing, but let's not open that can of worms now
This does has everything to do with Roman and the bloodline Cody is trash on his own He is a real heel .. and 5/8 months later he will be heel All he does is cry and kiss babies and chase after being great but he not near the level of hogan ,rock, Roman He will try to force himself again into the main event again but he’s no the draw he think he is… maybe in 3 more years but he’s not bigger than rock vs Roman I pray 🙏 they don’t make it a triple threat match
Small nitpick, but not for nothing the fact KO thinks he deserves the win because he got a pin when the ref was down kinda goes directly against his "I actually watch the product" shtick. Like if you watch the product every week you know a ref getting hit by anything will knock them down for forever and pinning someone at that point is meaningless. Yet he fell right into the trope. Personally I think KO is a good example of "hatred and revenge corrupt good motivation into wicked action" atm because ultimately piledriving someone with a history of back/neck issues is heel behavior. You don't get to (kayfabe) try to end someone's career (especially someone you claim to be friends with) and get to be the good guy imo, but a lot of fans, since they agree with KO's motivation and he's real entertaining, will see him as the face. In truth, KO's character has no friends in the locker room for a reason and it isn't because he's as right as he claims to be. Loving the work from him rn
You are spot on. He’s not actually right but the way he sells the fact that he believes he is right…. Well he has people believing him now. Because at the end of the day if your good friend becomes friends with someone you hate does that justify you trying to break your friend’s neck?
@WrestleChop Turns out KO is pretty darn good at his job, and WWE should (but probably won't) capitalize on that. If they want KO to be a proper heel, it won't happen while everyone still sees him as the fan favorite underdog who hasn't won a singles title in 8 years
Honestly, KO is wrong. He used Roman teaming with Cody as an excuse to turn on him. Cody has a title and KO has a history of betraying his friends whenever they have a title he wants. On top of that, where was that energy for Sami? Then he injured Randy Orton when he didn't do anything. Yall have sympathy for the wrong people sometimes, and it boggles my mind, lol
I still think it’s way too soon for Kevin owens to turn heel and turn on Cody and his friends like that after everything he’s been through in dealing with the annoying stables the bloodline and judgement day, hopefully they can write something to turn it around to make more sense where Kevin Owens can be face again but without having any good top faces like Cody turning heel in the process
@@johnmichael2692Kevin only turn after Cody did the unforgivable sin of teaming with the head of the stable who made his life miserable. He tried to remain good but that was too much
Not anything directly to do with the video itself, but (and it’s just humble opinion) you should just ADD to your room setting instead of swapping things out (depending on your room’s space). You have a nice title collection and a couple (or few) nice posters. They should all be on display. Again, just my opinion… Happy holidays!
I appreciate the advice and glad for it. That room is very small though and the rest of it covered in sound proofing and the computer I edit with. I plan on getting a display cabinet but otherwise I don’t have the room. I plan on changing posters every once in a while but it’s pretty set in stone finally. I’m glad someone noticed the background changing :)
Cody needs a character change unless they want Cena 2.0. He border line reminds me of a Lex Lugar promo. Vanilla. I’m not saying that Cody isn’t better than Lex, he is but…in this case KO is just better IMO, in all aspects. He’s so freaking good and believable! I love the PRIZE FIGHTER character. This bad ass character is his best carnation of KO. Cody is just a STRAIGHT LINE thus far. He’s just not exciting. His matches are very Cena like too. Same basic moves. He’s busts his butt in the ring, just like Cena did but he’s just not exciting. He’s Cena 2.0
Cody is a lackey mid card at best.. he is ZERO top card material.. KO now needs to bring Orton in on his side.. AFTER they settle their mash up.. Then you gotta throw in the CENA issue.. There's so much going on .. I honestly think if they don't give KO the belt... he leaves.. What they SHOULD do.. is have him and Drew.. team up... they are both now going after the bloodline.. THAT.. would make for one HELL of a story line..
Not trying to discredit your argument but I think you’re just stirring the pot 1. The crowd didn’t even boo Cody 2. NYC is known for snarky fans 3. I wouldn’t be concerned unless Cody starts getting booed weekly This whole Kevin is right narrative is just an attempt by Bloodline fans to try to make people turn on Cody just so that they get Rock vs Roman

Kevin is right tho. Respectfully, I'm one of exactly 3 people on god's green Earth who don't want Rock v Roman. I don't particularly enjoy The Bloodline right now either so there's that. Don't do that btw. You have every right to disagree with something but at this point you're attacking the people making an argument instead of tackling the argument itself. Not cool.
@@pandemic5705 Kevin is not right, where was he when Cody was being beat down after his title defense on the September 13th episode of SmackDown (mind you this was before Cody teamed with Roman). Oh wait he didn’t help because he was jealous of Cody after Cody beat him at Bash.
@@clashoclans9383 I can see you had a copy-paste ready ahead of time lmao That's called a plot hole, they probably hadn't planned the storyline this far ahead. Looking from Kevin's perspective within keyfabe, he's 100% justified. He fought Bloodline for years, they tried to end his career and Cody didn't come to help him once, instead he helped Roman get back to power and it didn't even take much convincing. That's betrayal of the highest order and the fact Cody's the champ so KO can take that from him out of spite is a bonus. No jealousy involved, the motivations of his character are far different. KO even refused to accept the title match for Backlash(or whatever show it was, I have a terrible memory for these things) before Cody and Aldis threatened to give the match to Roman. Since you had a reply already written and waiting to be copy-pasted I don't think you'll give it much of a thought, you seem to be very much set on a specific idea. Good for you, I said my piece.
This feud kinda just makes Ko look…stupid? Like I get why he’d be a little upset, but for him to have taken it as far as he has makes his character just seem like a dumb meathead
Everything you just described is exactly why I wanna see Cody vs Punk at Mania. CM Punk is, in a lot of ways, a better representation of The American Dream than Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile, Cody is a solid representation of Nepotism. He wouldn't be as successful as he is without The "Rhodes" name. You could even frame the storyline between them as "The American Nightmare vs The Real American Dream". If you want a Cody Heel turn down the line. Having him feud against guys like KO & CM Punk is the way to do it.
@maddeninghustle6919 I'm aware of that. But if Punk does portray Cody to be a product of nepotism, the fans would buy into it and Cody would get booed regardless of his correct stance. Even after the feud ends, his resentment towards the fans for booing him would still fester. WWE is already showing signs of Cody going heel (cheating against KO, and attacking Carmelo Hayes backstage JUST like Homelander did with A-Train). This is how you further plant the seeds for the eventual heel turn down the line.
This would actually be gold if Trips can turn this into a Bret-Austin type of rivalry wherein Bret was a full babyface and Austin was still a heel antihero

I hope they make this look like Cody was building a facade this whole time. And he’s willing to go against Kevin this whole time bc he was trying to expose the “system” behind Cody. Involve HHH, make a big heel turn, make Kevin earn the title the hard way.
Cody should drop the title to KO. Saldy that cant happen anytime soon cause of Randy, Cena, Cody and The Rock. Always the sad fate of KO. An i dont need KO as a transitional champion too. He needs the WWE title in 2025
Honestly ill take transitional at this point
we'll have a new heel faction of main eventers with an old school style. might even be "the four horsemen" with drew, seth, KO and randy.
No
That'd be an unstoppable team. Wouldn't mind them running WWE for a summer though!
The problem is yall still like Cody
It's ok to like him and still think his title reign has been lame.
@ nah bro yall gotta let buddy go
They have a gift in KO but hunter needs to utilise him. He’s such a unique wrestler and character. He NEEDS that title reign
I agree but I doubt he really gets the title right now
>Beaten down by the Bloodline continually
>Keeps fighting the Bloodline despite it being a losing battle
>Best friend joins the Bloodline
>Joins forces with a new friend
>New friend injured
>Best friend betrays the Bloodline and reunites with him
>Take the Tag Team Championship from the Bloodline
>New babyface takes the Undisputed Championship from the Bloodline leader
>New babyface champion, best friend and new friend join forces with the very faction that's been causing him pain due to Bloodline in-fighting
>Babyface champion cheats to beat him after all the talk about how much he respects him
Kevin Owens was right about everything.
Kevin Owens has the best move set !!!
::cm punk enters the chat::
Cody needs to go full Homelander
I can’t wait for that day!
Subbed! Digging the set up.
Thanks! I just put the finishes touches it. Go back like a month and look are my horrible background! 😂
KO capitalizes on the crowds emotion far better than Cody. It amazes me that a guy who grew up with a dad as a booker can't tell a story in the ring.
Literally Cody told Two Story's from his return to his lost at 39.
Especially being that man was the American Dream! It should be second nature by now...
I think planned or not, hhh might be forced into this and it will be amazing
I’ll concede the ref point as a weak argument but a heel like Kevin and spin it still.
The rematch should’ve been “last man standing.“
And yeah, I was old enough to have seen the first wrestlemania.
EXCITED FOR THE RAW STREAM TONIGHT CHOP!!!
Me too! It's taped but should still be a banger this close to the netflix debut!
100% agreed. Being a two time champion is better than being a boring champion
It's not smart to book the babyface so strong that the heels become the underdogs...a lot of that also falls on the "wrestlemania to wrestlemania" type of predictable long term booking that I WISH they'd finally stop doing, but let's not open that can of worms now
Great comment. I agree with almost everything you said.
This does has everything to do with Roman and the bloodline
Cody is trash on his own
He is a real heel .. and 5/8 months later he will be heel
All he does is cry and kiss babies and chase after being great but he not near the level of hogan ,rock, Roman
He will try to force himself again into the main event again but he’s no the draw he think he is… maybe in 3 more years but he’s not bigger than rock vs Roman
I pray 🙏 they don’t make it a triple threat match
I can see a triple threat because of nonstoryline reasons. The rock might now be ring shape unfortunately. Though I hope for 1 on 1 with the Great 1
Small nitpick, but not for nothing the fact KO thinks he deserves the win because he got a pin when the ref was down kinda goes directly against his "I actually watch the product" shtick.
If they want KO to be a proper heel, it won't happen while everyone still sees him as the fan favorite underdog who hasn't won a singles title in 8 years
While I understand it, I really wanted to see a conclusion with KO and Ezekiel 😢
Same
Very underrated channel
Thank you! I greatly appreciate the that. Hopefully 2025 is the breakout year!
KO needs to fake win the rumble or throw out the winner of the rumble. Hijack the rumble because Triple H and WWE management suspended K.O from WWE.
That's really good booking! Can I steal that idea?
the belt youre giving away would mean so much! earned a subscriber today keep up the good work.
Thank you and welcome to the channel! No matter what I will always give away a belt on this channel so if you don't win plenty more future chances!
Everybody knows Orton is coming back to get revenge 🙄. Still Rock vs Cody.
And when he does it will be from out of nowhere!!!
Kevin Owen’s w the winged eagle belt is amazing
I hope he keeps it until at least the rumble in a ladder match
Nice Collection!
Thank you! I might do a showcase video one of these days
He tried to remain good but that was too much
@ I know but I still hope Kevin can turn things around soon for his friend Cody because it still feels too soon for him to turn
Subscribed, brother! More power to you and your channel!
Thank you for the support! Hope to see you around!
This is actually a very respectable and reasonable critique of Cody Rhodes
Cody is a lackey mid card at best.. he is ZERO top card material..
KO now needs to bring Orton in on his side.. AFTER they settle their mash up..
Then you gotta throw in the CENA issue..
There's so much going on ..
I honestly think if they don't give KO the belt... he leaves..
What they SHOULD do.. is have him and Drew.. team up... they are both now going after the bloodline..
THAT.. would make for one HELL of a story line..
After Cody, Sami will probably next on KOs list
Good luck, Bro! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
Thank you so much for the words and support! I look forward forward to seeing you around the channel :)
Good luck on the 10K journey.
KO vs The Rock at WM 41
Thank you! Ko vs rock would be fire!
Not trying to discredit your argument but I think you’re just stirring the pot
1. The crowd didn’t even boo Cody
2. NYC is known for snarky fans
3. I wouldn’t be concerned unless Cody starts getting booed weekly
This whole Kevin is right narrative is just an attempt by Bloodline fans to try to make people turn on Cody just so that they get Rock vs Roman
@@clashoclans9383 no worries! I welcome a different opinion and /or view point! Though the premise of the video is this isn’t a problem yet but can become one quick if wwe isn’t careful. But I do hear your points and thank you for them
Kevin is right tho.
@@pandemic5705 He didn't attack, he said he disagreed and gave a few points, that isn't attack, can you not spread this situation
Hell yeah!!! Hopefully you can make this your fulltime gig 🤘🏼
I really appreciate the enthusiasm in your support! People like you make me believe that I can do it!
Kevin would make a more entertaining champion fs.
Agreed!
KO is doing amazing work!
Sure is!
Once Orton returns it won’t be a problem anymore.
Then we got a RKO Problem
This feud kinda just makes Ko look…stupid? Like I get why he’d be a little upset, but for him to have taken it as far as he has makes his character just seem like a dumb meathead
I don't see it that way. I feel he looks for delusional myself. I get what you are saying though.
Oh boy, Cody Rhodes lhad similar face / heal Dynamics issues in AEW and now speedrunning them in WWE
By the end of the end of next year Cody better figure out how to stay babyface you H will flip him.
Cody and his respect are like Mr. Miyagi and Danny laruso
Wax on. Wax off.
KO is literally the antithesis of Dusty Rhodes right now, thsts what makes him perfect
The Canadian Dream!
So hear me out. Homelander (from the boys). Cody Rhodes. Homelander. Cody Rhodes.
Codylander.
I’m all for that!
Taking the belt like KO 👍
I better watch my back then!
That’s some solid booking. Now I want Cody punk too!! Thanks for the comment!
Cody was at the bottom of the barrel and a stardust character, he isn't a nepotism wrestler.
So many people trying to rewrite the story.
KO deserves a good angle, he had gotten stale and predictable
Looks like he got one! I'm loving this angle!
Rock and HHH love Kevin Owens.
They have good taste!
This would actually be gold if Trips can turn this into a Bret-Austin type of rivalry wherein Bret was a full babyface and Austin was still a heel antihero
That would be amazing.

Idk I was rocking with Cody at first but it fell off quick
Same. I still like him but maybe not as champ….
The problem was listening to the internet cry babies and making Cody a champion.
Going with Kenny KO is another problem. Both guys lack the physical presence let’s say a Roman Reigns has.
To be fair, not many can match Roman's presence.
I hope Ko becomes champ again
Same. It’s been way too long
That’s great content ❤
Good explanation
Glad you think so! I appreciate the feedback
People will think KO is a heel as long as he keeps acting like an asshole -- so I guess we're stuck with him being one for a while.
Not wrong.
you are the man bro!
You are as well for the comment!
I kinda like the heel ko
I'm loving him. He's the problem for us. The man is amazing.
Piledrivers never really been used in wwe?
What?
They been but they been banned for years. And now it looks like they are the deadliest thing ever
@@WrestleChop Banned for everyone but Kane and Taker but yeah I get ya.
I’m ready for Homelander Cody!
As am I!!!
KO is more entertaining than Cody. The problem is rn Cody Rhodes is boring. KO is also right. I don't hate Cody but his run has been so static.
The worst thing they did to Cody was not giving him tough challenges in the beginning. He wasn’t able to ride finishing his story as long as they had hoped

tbh Kevin OWENS should be an actor in hollywood over the Rock 🥱🥱🥱
He is pretty good!
@ i can see it , he has that everyman look and he genuinely is good at emotions, when be was stepping on Cody on the stretcher? I felt genuine concern Lmaoooo
KO is boring w no identity
I disagree but thats what make wrestling great. Something for everyone. I’m sure you like someone that I don’t and that’s perfectly ok
KO deserves everything
Hard to argue that.
Shoot forget Cody. KO vs Roman vs Rock at maina with Cody helping the Rock win out of spite for Kevin.
KO and The Rock in a mic battle? Sign me up!
@WrestleChop I see it after 4 years KO finally has Roman down for the count. Only for Cody to break up the pin and brawl KO to the back. Just as Roman starts to get up The Rock hits him with a rock bottom and a people's elbow for the 123 becoming the champ. We get face Roman vs heel Rock and Homlander Cody vs pissed off face KO
Is “Chop” a 🇵🇹 reference by any chance? Also … I’m here for the belt 😂
Not really other than Ric Flair and Gunther’s wrestling chops. It was the only name I could think of that wasn’t in use. I wish I had a cooler story
@ oh ok gotcha. It’s a common term in relation to people of Portuguese descent. It’s used more in jest for fun it’s not pejorative to most so don’t sweat it I was def not coming at you st that angle… just thought maybe you were Portuguese
