Try the Checkinn hotel next door to immigration. It's only about 1100 php for a nice clean room right in town. Don't bother with the breakfast though 😂 unless you ask for it to be a takeaway and then you can give it to the lady outside sitting on the sidewalk. Welcome to Dumaguete.

Well, guess what? I am the only Expat in the Philippines that has been to every city and province and if you traveled, you would know Dumaguete is not in the best 100 places.

Give Duma its credit. 3 hrs north is my place in San Carlos City NO and it is a gem
