The truth is filipino people may be poor yet they are much happier than western countries with far more wealth. After living there i can attest to this.
@@stevelawson68 I agree. It amazes me. Westernized kids are never happy. Send a Filipino kid a cardboard box and they can play all day. Amazing!! Thanks for your comment.
@@dannystravelvlog The worst is when you see street children sleeping on the sidewalk that you can tell have not had a meal in a while. My wife and I try to help as much as we can in our Barangay. I wish you well in your travels. Stay safe and avoid needy women.

It's very bad outside of the mall and down the local streets. If you live in Cebu as a westerner you will need to confine yourself to the bubble or you will be looking over your shoulder.

So, it was founded in 1620, completed in 1776, demolished in 1846 and rebuilt in 1885.

Enough of Drama old man... even Filipinos are poor they are still happy and have positive vibes.
I understand that you want to convey a positive vibe but please be kind and emphatic enough with his emotions. Just be thankful others feel that way because in truth, PH is really far from the advanced countries. It's really a pitiful place when the standard measure is material or economic because there are a lot of poor people. The man is not talking about drama but just talking about the reality that touched him. It takes a good soul to feel the poverty of others.
The truth is they are poor but the majority of families are happy. From what I've witnessed much happier than families with much more wealth in America. @SimplyJo-ot3zw
stop the good and happy vibes, and the how happy filipinos are. No. they are suffering. Stop sanitizing poverty with, nah, they are happy in it anyway. There is no happiness if you are living in the streets, if you are hungry.

@Frightcontrol Well, I live there, and we have a very large family and many friends. The people I know and that I encounter are happy. So your point of view and opinion is yours. Mine is based on my personal experience. Cheers!

I loved your confessions! Made me laugh. I've started a youtube channel recently and made myself vulnerable to negative comments. I brewed over the first mean comments until i figured out what to do with them. Now i turn them into jokes anc use them in my skits. None of us are perfect or invulnerable. Please be kind everyone and follow Thumper's advice "if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all."❤

I would recommend staying away from the street food. They have very questionable sanitary standards as well as their food sources. I know it's cheap and tasty but you are risking your health. I know because I live in Cebu and my gf and her family tell me this.
