How to turn a song into a Nightcore song

These tips are just for beginners so if you know the program or explore it you can do more than what is mentioned in the video!

NEW UPDATE: a better and non stress way to get music for audacity keepvid.com/ the Mp3 option is at the bottom plus there are other cool options to use too.
Mediaconverter.org- updated their website so there is no longer WAV file format for download, use MP3 player (MP3, 96k audio, stereo) to download music instead, Audacity will except that too!
A FEW THINGS TO HELP WITH SOME PROBLEMS:
- always have the MP3/WAV song stopped in Audacity when trying to turn it into a MP3 file in the "file" tab of the program.
-try to find different versions of the song off of TH-cam if the first choice doesn't download, lyric video usually work the best.

when you want to add effects to the song file you can't have the song playing at the same time, it hase to be stopped by pressing the square button or the space bar. Try using Ctrl A to sellect to make sure it's totally selected. And also if the song is a mp3 from the keepvid website then it will work, but if the song is draged from your itunes directly it won't work cause it's not a file type at all so it will have to be changed into one which I have a video called How to change a itunes file

that happened to me a couple of times but I didn't have the problem that you had the first time, it happened because I wasn't using i for a certain ammount of time and I had it running and then it decided that it wasn't going to play sound so I had to make the song all over again
Yu have to make sure the file is Selected (Ctrl A) and that it is not playing has to be completely stopped by pressing the yellow square next to the play arrow

I'm not sure since I've actually never worked with a aup file before so I'm very sorry but if you go to google and type in the question How can you turn a aup file into a mp3 and find the Audacity Forum website it might answer your question or try this video by SimonBlokky How to export Audacity files (AUP) to MP3 files I looked it over it looks like it might help. Sorry I couldn't reply sooner I was on vacation and there was no internet. Sorry again for not having the answer myself!

For all of those people who can't export it to mp3, you need to get the lame_enc.dll

- Audacity allows mp3 to be edited directly that's why you don't need to convert mp3 to wav.

I made it, but it was salve as audacity (aup). When I was going to chose another type, below the name of the music, didn't have anything there.

For the newer version of Audacity, I click on saved as and under the "rename" thing, I clicked on it and there was no Mp3
Okay never mind, I lied. I actually downloaded some file it apparently needed and the first time I exported it didn't work but on trying it again it has worked sooo, anyways thanks for your help :3

Well what version do you have cause maby if it's not the latest version then updating might help. Also you need to have the song not playing in order to have the "Save as a mp3" option to be visible or useable also I would just save your songs for now until this gets stratind up so you could convert it later. To find more questions and answers you can visit the Audacity forum so just type your question into google and find the one that's the audacity forum and maby they might have an explination
well I don't know czech but I would think that the actions and placing are the same so if you go to effects it would be the fourth one starting at the top going down Change Pitch is what it's called also don't forget to Ctrl A to select all. Hope this helps sorry if it's still different in czech. I'll look up how to change the pitch in czech audacity to double check if i'm correct or not :)
I think when I save it, it might just be how my computer shows it so I assumed that all computers would. It also might be because your computer dosn't atomatically save in your music folder or where ever you save your music; if you look at 2:57 it shows it being outomatically in my Music Library. Try it again and if not then just save it where ever you want to and try searching for it in your files in the search bar also make sure to click on Export as MP3 that could also be another reason
Well you can Save As if you want to go back to it later to edit it or you can just go ahead and export as a MP3 (Export when your done with it) or both. When saving you have to select your project by using Ctrl A; in the file tab at the top left to save it's called Save Project As then you save it where ever your song files are; and if your constantly working on it and want to save periodicly click on file then Save Project or Ctrl S
Song has to be completely stopped can't be paused. Also try to see if you can make it as a WAV file just in case it's your computer not responding to Audacity's program, if you can't do that either than try to save it as the other media files to see witch one is compatible or redownload the Audacity program.
I'm not sure what to say about that; maybe delete the program and redownload. reminder you have to have the song not playing by pressing the square button near the play and pause button, then you should beable to export the file to Mp3 or save it as a temporary file for later use. Sorry for not being much of help never had that problem happen before.
if you add the song to your itunes you can do it that way, right click album and click on get info and on the right side there will be a box that says Artwork above it, check the box next to it and doubleclick the box to selet a pictue from your files then click ok and that's all I know for adding a picture for the song
Ya since mediaconverter decided to change what formats to download from they don't have WAV. But it will still work if you just download it as a mp3 player the first one that shows up in the selection menu I have tested it out my self so it works.

Maby I should mention that it is just for beginner nightcore song makers and that if you experiment with the program or know the program then you can add more :P It's just the basics!

Like, all nightcore uploads on TH-cam are sped up regular songs. The original Norwegian group called 'Nightcore' sped up existing songs. I'm sorry but it's the truth. Just search for the original songs of some famous nightcore tracks. They all have an original slower track and the nightcored versions are, looking at it from a factual viewpoint, speed edits. Nothing less, nothing more. It sometimes makes me sad how little musical knowledge 95% of nightcore fans seem to have.
if your using the website in the video that one is a little difficult so I recomend you use the website in the description box which can be a easier way to save a MP3
It's not working. When I click on effects they are all greyed out and I cant click on them. Please help because I really wanna make a nightcore. :|
Try to redownload the MP3 file from a different downloading source mediaconverter . org or keepvid . com and see if that helps if not comment again
If you tried the mediaconverter website that sometimes dosn't work so try this website more simpler and takes and takes any song keepvid . com (no spaces)

of course I know that it's not just sped up but it's the easyest to do and onece you mess around with the program then more can be added :)

I don't dislike nightcore, don't get me wrong. I just don't like the fact that nearly every single nightcore listener seems to think it are actual remixes and original tracks or something.

make sure songs completely stopped. Can only add affects when the song isn't playing.
