Four months ago, we were told that the SF-PRO Router Table Fence was going to be available for Sawstop tables soon, how's that going? Others and I don't have room for a stand-alone router table but would love to have a SF-PRO Router Table Fence on our Sawstop. We hope you can make it happen. 👍 All the Best, Chuck.
I've got a SawStop standalone cast iron router table that I would love to see the SF-PRO Fence fit onto. It is more like the JessEm tables that have the fence tighten to the tracks on the left and right edge of the table top. It would likely take a more substantial redesign verses the spacesaver model you have that attaches to the saw itself.
@@DavidATakes I get it, I've looked at it and even thought about how I could adapt it fit. I'll try and wait to see what the folks at Woodpeckers come up with. I have a plasma cutter and three welders, which makes me a bit worried being I tend to be impulsive. 🤪 I hope they don't take too long. 😀 All the Best, Chuck.
I thought with the new fence the micro adjust is not needed? Is it? I have the micro adjust, but the issue with it, is that it is awkward to use at times. When you have to move the fence back far enough that the micro adjust comes out of the tracks it's a pain to put back in the tracks.
The independent micro adjustment of infeed and outfeed takes care of offset cuts. Full fence micro-adjustment is a different animal. Example would be aligning the fence to a bearing or making a rabbet cut a little more or a little less.
Hope you noticed in the video that the issue you mentioned is resolved for the fence itself. The custom-made nut that slides into the track has a pin that keeps it properly aligned to enter the track.
Ah, I did not. That is a welcomed change. I actually have the upgrade kit, but I haven’t had the time to open the box 0:13 and install it. Very happy my issue has been resolved! Thanx for following up with that information.
I love all of the stuff yall have and I love yall tools.too but they just to high cost for me being a beginner wood worker maybe one day ill be able to have alot of yall stuff
From my experience, cost is relative. It really depends on how you value your time and accuracy. An example would be the cost of a hand saw versus a table saw. They can both accomplish the same task, but the one with less cost takes much more of your time and effort and may not be as accurate, taking even more time for final fitting. When I pay for tools from Woodpecker, I only have to groan once and then enjoy the result!
Couldn't find the dimension between the fence slots on Rockler's web site. The standard SF-PRO is set up for 17" center-to-center on the fence tracks. As mentioned in Chuck's earlier comment, we're working on a universal or adjustable mount. It's in the works, but no projected date at this point.
I have to watch videos with the audio streaming going straight into my hearing aids. The guitar music in the background is really off-putting. I'd watch more videos if you could get rid of the background music. Thanks.
I got the conversion kit and adapter for micro-adjust. Those products solved so many annoyances with the original super fence. Thank you!

I've seen a couple prototypes, Chuck, but none of them so far have met with universal love. Getting closer, though.
@@WoodpeckersLLC Thank you for the feedback, I'm happy to hear it is in the works!

Got it. That makes sense, thanx.

Does the fence come in metric?
A combo inch-metric scale will be available when the universal fit fence is launched.
When will the universal fit fence launch? And is it exactly same as SF Pro just with different scale?
@@WoodpeckersLLCany update on this?
