what better way to make a box of secrets than to make it over-complicated 😂in all earnesty though i get so excited for new vids from you, your builds and sculpts are always so complex and turn out gorgeously and your attention to detail - especially on all the floral pattern stuff - is insane! the "old metal" feel that you achieved on the ornamentations is gorgeous! it looks Just like weathered bronze. as always, looking forward to the next one c:

Watching all of your work makes me travel to another time... My mother used to sculpt like this, figures and mirrors decorations among other things, you make things like she would with a darker style like I love... Thanks for the share, it means a lot !

I was expecting the adornments to be 3d printed; but the sculpting is incredible. I wish I could find STLs close to these for a project I'm working on.
I would recommend using gloves when manipulating Apoxie. One can develop some quite bothersome skin sensitivities through exposure to the unreacted epoxy resin and hardener compounds while it is still soft. Lovely acanthus leaf details BTW.
Giiiiiiiiiiiirl - WOW, that was an awesome make. The final shots really tell the whole beautiful story because of the way the light illuminates everything - you can't really see the beauty while it's being made because the colors are so muted. I'm impressed - I don't know if I would have taken the time to make such an intricate thing, but I sure would love the talent to do so!!!! I just LOVE how the creative women on youtube are just really amazing!!!!! Your build kind of reminds me of Tina Yu. This is the first video I've ever seen of yours - I'll def check out some more just to see what's going on in that creative mind of yours. I'd love to get into sculpting some day, too. I'll have to check out that super sculpey - you must have rolled that down on the next to thinnest setting because those clay sheets were very thin. And did you bake the unicorn in stages or sculpt everything raw and then baked at the end? Anyway - beautiful box. I must say that I LOVED it when it was just the black and the raw wood - that would have been amazing with a black unicorn on top, too!!! You've given me some inspiration!
At first i thought the antiquing with the oxidized rust was a little heavy handed, but it really pulled it the whole thing together in the end, you are amazing. I am curious though, was that really gold acrylic, not copper or bronze?

Thank you :) The acrylic paint is called "antique gold", and it looks darker and more bronze than most gold paints.

I don't prime on polymer clay. Just paint. I use a few different brands of acrylic paint mixed together or independently.
