    “Segregation was good for us, we’ve never recovered from integration.”
    Is that true? I can see what he means because look at cities like Detroit and Philli and Baltimore from the 50s and now

    • @Lioness1499
      @Lioness1499 3 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      One hundred percent true. Integration destroy the Black community. We had our own doctors, lawyers, schools, colleges. My family own a 101 acres of land as did many Black families back then. Many Black families sold their land and moved to Chicago and Detroit for the city. Where many met poverty head on. So grateful my family was blessed. They kept the 101 acres of land and now it is passed on generation after generation. Dr. King realized that Intergration was a bad thing afterwards.

    It's probably a good idea not to be smacking those lips & gums in the background while making a film. It's disgusting & distracting. Otherwise I love what you put out but please don't do that anymore. It's not an eating scene of a movie & I'm almost positive a large amount of the audience is in agreement with me.

Didnt send me 1 dollar. I coulda made a movie about that. Had to beat this dude with a bat for beating up my ma over on John R , shit sobnuch shit but i ended up penniless. My advice is to buy something that will last like land or stocks, something. If i wouldnt have went to prison i woulda still been doin the same thing. Changed my life tho. One thing i know about is how to smuggle and do shif without getting caught. Just dont have anyone close enough to you to flip. Small circles are how you make it

    @Al Profit. Al, thanks for posting the documentary. **Before I get into my comment, hows the best way to get in touch with you privately.**
    I worked in Detroit for some of the late 1970's, a lot of the 1980's & part of the 1990's. I was in the demolition field so that was the type of work I did do there in Detroit. With that said, I hope that no one will get upset with the following. In the early 1980's after we finished the Dodge-Main facility demolition, my father had stopped by a small demolition job I was doing on 2nd street, if I am remembering correctly. At any rate, he said to me that he had wreck some of the buildings on 2nd street, including the building that once sat on the site I happened to be doing the demolition work at. I laughed when he mentioned it because I thought it was sorta wild that I was doing the 2nd demo on that exact same part of 2nd St. But this is the thing he told me that I never did forget. He says to me that as long as there's black people living in Detroit, there would always be a lot of demolition work to be done in Detroit. At first, I took it like he was being racist by that remark, so I did ask him that. He did however reassure me that he wasn't trying to be racist, he was just telling me something that he remembered since he was also in the demolition field. Not as an equipment operator but as an owner of a demolition company. He went of to explain that there were names for a lot of the areas in Detroit that were originally built for the people who lived in Detroit, meaning a lot of apartment buildings, primarily what we would call ''Projects'' What I had learned from him was during the 1950's & 1960's he had torn down a lot of residential areas, so those so called ''Projects'' could be built where those old residential neighborhoods were. So as it turned out, I was wrecking a lot of those newer high-rise low income housing/apartments. He ended the conversation with, ''Son, as long as there's a;; black areas, there will always be demolition. I actually looked at it that I didn't feel that it was the reason but it was because of modernization with newer types of multiple family type structures, which is normally what happens in most cities like Detroit.... Sp to anyone who reads this, I didn't believe all that stuff my father said, I just knew that there was always demolition to be done in Detroit.....

    The devil accuses... If a man walks with God, he will hate none, nor place blame on anyone for his life or it's outcome. I pray that the love and peace of God, the strength of God may go forth from the throne of his Majesty to all his saints who cry out to him in these hard times. We are infact, pressed from all sides and yet we are not crushed. May God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ bless all who read this and build you up in that which you lack👍🙋❤️

    What he is saying at 1:33 is very important and the people of this country should be paying attention to what's been going on lately. The government is behind that and that's still happening now days as business owners are getting killed in mass shootings and in other ways.

Homes were destroyed children were taken away from their parents. People overdosed. I hope you guys are all proud of yourselves congratulations

    This could have been a decent documentary if Al wouldn't keep interrupting and making everyone repeat themselves. Also the constant backtracking of the video was super annoying. I don't know if he was trying to stretch the video out or what happened but this could have been wrapped up in about 45 minutes if it wasn't for all of that. Lastly, who is the hell eats food in the middle of an interview?? I'm surprised they didn't kick him out of their house LOL
