I appreciate you taking the time to show how to apply multiple products together.
Thanks Scott. I’ve learned from others but test mix a small cup if your unsure. Example, lots of products don’t mix well with MicroGreene
Great content. Yankee Fan in Louisville,KY
Great! Go Yankees!
Great work My friend🌴😎👊
Thanks again Christian!
I believe the preventative rate is 1 oz per thousand
Thanks John. I'm am amature at making videos and have a greater appreciation for those professionals. In many of my newer vids I've mentioned and or put notes in that you should ALWAYS follow product instructions. Hope your lawn season is going well.
Great job Russ! Definetly a good strategy to preventing disease
You know it! Be good.
Good content about your 2 fugicides and soi additives.
Thanks again. I love the soil amendments.
So i just completed a complete renovation. But of course I had 3 bad washouts!!! So i applied more seed but it made it tough to water. Now I got hit with pythium blight. I just applied some azoxy and have prop on hand. I also have Subdue Maxx coming in two days. Should I just use the subdue maxx or tank mix with prop? Cool season lawn ph , micros and macros on point other than K which is low. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the video
Reading the label looks like Subdue Max , Group 4 fungicide , specifically targets pythium. Says you can tank mix with another non group 4 fungicide that also targets pythium. FROM LABEL: “Rotate the use of Subdue MAXX or other Group 4 fungicides within a growing season sequence with different groups that control the same pathogens”
I don’t have experience with pythium but I rotate fungicides when I start seeing signs of damage. Looks like Subdue Max is a good choice. Looks like Propiconazole is not rated for pythium. With that said study the labels on both products to confirm, I am not an expert, and apply as directed. Call your local extension service for expert advice. Russ, you do preventive care every 2 weeks though out the summer or just May and June?
Depends on weather such as rain heat and humidity. Especially when we get into continuous overnight heat and humidity. I apply one of the products every two weeks. This past season I applied June, July and into mid August. Once consistent humidity broke I stopped. Had no fungus. How’d you make out yourself this past season?
@@LawnJourneys I live in south NJ, I applied at the curative rate in June, July and August. Got dollar spots and red thread this year. Hopefully this year start with preventive rate. Trying to get my water right lol deep and infrequently.
Great info Russ. Lawn is looking great too. Enjoy the holiday weekend 👍💚 🦸
Thanks. You too Keith, have a good holiday weekend.
Beautiful Lawn Russel … Happy 4th
You too Silverio. Good job with you being featured by LCN!
Russ- I know LCN says you can put axozy and propiconozole down on the same day. Do you know if you can combine the liquid axoxy with the liquid propiconozole to make one application on the same day or do you need to make 2 applications?
You can mix both on same day but at the low preventative rate of each. Paul from Paul’s Prime Cuts who is a professional applicator does this to all his fescue lawns
Yes. As Stephen said I’ve seen experts apply both liquids together. I choose to rotate them every two weeks, applying each once a month when fungus conditions are most prevalent.
You mention your PPE, but you don't wear all the pieces when mixing the products or spraying the lawn. The rest is good.
Ken I know I didn’t wear glasses and had short sleeves. It was so humid but that’s no excuse 😬. Hitting with Azoxy again on Monday, not recording but I will do a better job. 👍
