Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching and your comment. Hopefully there will be another rally in 2022 at Bugsworth Basin near Whaley Bridge I believe around June/July. Sorry for delay in replying due to other commitments.
@@lifeisbetterwithaboatandad1534 Yes, well it will be when all the repairs and work are done anyway! Hopefully be exploring our larger canals and waterways before heading over to Europe for a few years but that's ages away yet.
Thanks for your comment and many thanks for watching. I have recently been cruising and have heard and seen several 3LW's. That is one great engine. I knew nothing about Gardner engines till I got this boat three years ago. Unfortunately the rally this year had to be cancelled at Bugsworth Basin. Lets hope it can go ahead in 2021.
@@lifeisbetterwithaboatandad1534 I'm near Braunston, near rugby. If it goes ahead i'll take a couple of weeks off for the trip! I think my 3LW came out of an old tower crane? At least that's what i was told. It's a bit smoky, but i've never seen one that wasn't...!
Very interesting and I love Gardner's getting very rare now great video thanks for taking the time much appreciated

Thanks for taking the trouble to produce this video, Excellent👍
My pleasure, many thanks for watching.
Gardner + steam! What could be better?
Many thanks for your comment.
I have a 6LW in my boat, won't fit on the canals in the UK though but it was interesting to see this rally on here.
Thanks for watching, your boat sounds interesting, presume it is sea going.

Nice. I live on a 59ft tug with a 3LW. I should have been there!

Interesting as I had a nb with a Gardner 3LW and 2UC gearbox with reduction, but a small suggestion. Get someone who can do the commentary for you!
