@@MP-mw9ph late to replying, but...No. Ableton is most definitely easier and better from a work flow standpoint in every way (except the piano roll) but I still find myself using FL for some reason.
@@brianpschirrer6913 lol I don't know what to do with this information. I've heard a lot of different reviews saying that FL is better but tbh I've been struggling to grasp it for a couple of years now. This comment made me curious as to whether I should switch or not.
Try going from FL Mobile to the real thing. Like from driving a car to figuring out the Discovery Space Shuttle controls.
ngl most tutorials seem hard and confusing to follow at first, but eventually you'll understand and probably thank the creator of that tutorial like this one

ive been watching videos for hours trying to figure out how to get my cursor from draw mode/pencil back to a regular pointer on the playlist. can anyone help?
It isn’t possible in fl studio… the in interface has been made such that it won’t allow you to use a regular pointer, instead, you would have to use the hand pointer or the finger pointer on FL studio

why does adding a violin to a hi hat make the violin screetch? new user, totally brand new, i can put together drums but adding guitar, violin, piano, they all sound different when i put them on the channel rack? im stuck , just bought fl studio producer.

That’s how each mixer track is ‘armed’. Next press R on your keyboard or press the Record button up top. Space bar to start the count down (can be disabled: 3,2,1 button)

I downloaded the free version of FL Studio and realized that pretty much all of the instruments (Like guitars, pianos, and drums), were only available through purchasing the Producer Version. As someone who wants to create rock/metal songs, that was quite disappointing 😓.

Is it possible to add some text notes in folder where your .fst (state file plugin) is placed, so when you search for a plugin to put it in the mixer channel, you see text notes you made for that plugin?

Its not bad. Pro tools is the best for songwriting and live recording.
It is classified as an "intermediate" level DAW so I do not think that you will have a hard time with it. And it is great for adding sounds and producing music!
Logic is probably allot better for that situation if you have a Mac.
I downloaded FL 21 and my channel rack doesnt have anything on it anymore. It doesnt show those grey and red things

I was getting so frustrated because all tutorials were just horrible they would talk so fast. un clearly open tabs and click buttons. Got fl studio today and all ready know the basics your the best!

Its in the channel rack. Drag your plug in or instrument into the + on the channel rack. If its a real instrument do it the same way as you would record vocals

You can have a word or google doc open and press windows(key) + shit + s to take a screenshot of a video. And ctrl v to paste it in a doc.
