On this particular light, I think you may need a relay in order to get the blinkers to work. There are some lights out there that don’t require it, but, this particular light I think you do.
👑Great Video👑 💯 Did you tried connect the turn signal wires to the turn signal switch that you have in the other video? I'm thinking to connect the LED strip light to the tail light port while connecting the turn signal wires to the turn switch, and getting the power from the Super73 S2 tail light port, without using a battery pack. Any tips would be greatly appreciated 😊
I ordered the same light and there are amber turn sign wires that y out can hook up to use but no matter what wire configuration, it doesn’t go bright red, just amber when the brake handle is depressed.🤷🏽♂️
Ok got it. For the Super73 r2 the wires go like this: red from bike to black led rear light. Yellow from bike to other red LED. Black from bike to white from the LED. From the bike, the brake switch on each handle bar is the yellow wire coming from the bike.
@@rickreyes9830 do you have the RX? Because the low beam red light is not on when I do his configuration B-R, R-B, W-W. When I match the color its just bright red. I will try your configuration but instead of yellow I have white.
As a brake light, unfortunately not. The R doesn’t have the 12V system like the S2 and RX have. You can make into a tail light using an external battery though.
From what I understand, the ZX would need a step down converter to go from 48V to 12V. What you could do, however, is wire it up to an external battery so you would at least have a tail light (no brake light though).
@@Eattrvlroll damn.. I just bought the light and a 5pin male connector to see if it’d work.. you commented just in time for me to cancel it 😭 appreciate it!!
Silicone tape is your friend.. when electrical tape gets hot and old it leaves the adhesive residue.. Silicone tape is way! better.. o sticky mess at all.. and won't peel off from wear and tear
Is there a bear sleeping in your room? 😂
I dont have white coming from bike its got blue green yellow back and red would white be to blue wire?
nice job! thanks for sharing! do you know how to enable the included turn signals from the led together with a switch?

very interesting but... I don't understand how activating the brake turns it on. The brake cable does not go to the control unit.
For the Super73 S2 and RX, the taillight has an integrated brake light. All we’ve done was swap out the light and wired to the same type of connector.
Ah!! I was thinking this!! So now I’m wandering how to connect this up to a system that doesn’t have the breaking sensor system!! 🙏
Can you do a video that explains turn signals too?

Thank you. I did think about doing that but I’m actually going to be re-doing the whole lighting set up. Stay tuned.
@@Eattrvlroll Great 👍 looking forward seeing your new build!
I ordered the parts from Ali and I will be doing this! I’ll post here if I got it working or not
What do you plug it in to?
Nice upgrade wonder if that would work on the Lectric XP 2.0? be awesome if it did
Does the 2.0 have stock brake lights?
@@Eattrvlroll It's a taillight not a brake light

Are you letting the solder in those connectors melt?
Yes. Just enough to hold the connection
are you hooking this tail up to your Ebike battery or external battery ?
Because the S2 is a 12V system, I have it wired to the actual bike. No need for external battery
Thank you so much for the video!
Will this work with an R?

Nice. I appreciate the tip. I’ll pick some up
😂 I couldn't concentrate on what you where doing because all I could hear is someone snoring in the background
😆😆😆
Thanks
The loud snoring in the background tho...
