I've has discussions with pro-choice (pro-death) women online and they openly admit that abortion is murder, that it ends a unique and irreplaceable human life, but they still believe they have the right to commit murder and take the life of another human being, their own child - because as they put it, no woman should be "forced" to carry a pregnancy to term. I don't know what to say back to these people, they are so beyond and so vile and malicious. They even get other women supporting them in the comments, it's unfathomably evil.

But I think that the men who are going around siring children who will be aborted should also bear half of the responsibility, but it isnt always possible to hold them responsible cause men can run and be all the way around the world before the woman is ever known to be pregnant, therefore since you cant hold the mother and father equally responsible, we kinda have to default to not holding the mother responsible at all. i am more on the side of pro choice, and a non-theist (atheistic Christian, psychological Christian if u may, lol and a Classical Liberal) BUT i always find it a bit weird and horrifying that most of these pro choice people attempt to alienate the baby from the mother and sort of treat them like an inanimate objects; also something that horrifies me more is that some of that legit signify them as a sort of parasite and presents the process of having the baby out of the womb as if the baby is mutilating the mother. i understand that it's painful but equating it to the baby "ripping your body to shreds" is overly exaggerating. I gave birth naturally last year for the first time, and was able to walk around after delivering my son. Pregnant again this year and glad to go through it all over again for the sake of my second child. And while I won't literally be torn apart during delivery, I guess she missed the memo that's what literally happens to a child in utero who is aborted.

@@Arginne And I suffered a 3rd degree tear with my son, yet I was still not "torn apart". Doctor told me it was close to being a 4th degree tear, which is the worst. And I could walk around fine, perhaps just a bit slower. Worst thing was the stitches would pinch a little every now and then, but I was fully healed in about 2 weeks. Worst of it was the first 2-3 days and it wasn't even that bad. Gave birth with no meds, and didn't even feel myself tear. Not at all the same as being torn limb from limb, so your point proves nothing.

That makes it about 14 000 pregnancies that came about from rape. 620 000 - 14 000 = 606 000 abortions. I dont know the number for this but lets assume 50% of the remaining abortions were medicaly nessesary. That still leaved us with 300 000 people in just one year using abortion as a means of birth control. 300 000 babies killed because adults can't figure their shit out. 300 000 is about a population of a country like Iceland, Barbados or French Guiana. A whole freaking country of people! This isn't my narative, its simple math. Only 2.2% of the total amount of abortions in 2020 were the ones that came about because of rape. And I'm not the one to judge the poor SA'ed girls for wanting an abortion. But you gotta agree. That number doesn't quite match up with the number of people who use the SA'ed girls exuse as a shield to escape from their responsibilities.

Yup. The argument is absolutely clear and waterproof. We are comparing murder, ending of human life on one hand with a temporary inconvenience on the other hand. Even if you assume the mother has to suffer SOME bodily harm (as in C-section or sth), it can NEVER outweigh a murder of a human being. It any imaginable rational Judiciary system it just doesn't fly. Unless you try to avoid this whole argument by declaring unborn babies are not babies... but she already made the mistake of admitting yes they definitely are human beings. The difference between the “giving up” your liver, a kidney or your blood argument is that , while all these organs could help another human being to survive, the sole purpose of the uterus is to create and bare another life. From all your organs, the uterus is the only organ in a woman’s body that was specifically made to carry another human being. All the woman’s organs except the uterus were made for her body.
I think there is another funamental difference. if a person doesnt want to donate a kidney, they arent killing anyone. they are just refusing to save someone. in abortion, the baby is alive and healthy and will grow to be a fully formed person if left alone unless the mother chooses to actively kill him/her. its the difference between not stopping a suicide jumper and pushing someone to fall. only one of those options is murder.

Basically, the bodily autonomy argument is this: Imagine you drive a car and crash into someone, and they are about to die unless you give them your blood because it is the perfect type. Even in this situation the government cannot make you give your blood even though morally you should give some blood. In this case, the government will charge you for murder because of your crash put the man to die NOT because you didn't give blood. And having sex is like driving and the accident in both cases is the crash and the pregnancy. For a while, this argument made sense to me until you start thinking about how even in the bodily autonomy world view you are still responsible for accidents done by choices you made and in the case of pregnancy you can't separate an appropriate "consequence" from the accident of sex causing a potential death and not saving a fetus inside you. I've come to the realization that you might as well carry it to term and put the baby for adoption/surrender the child. Abortions should just be emergency procedures when the life of the mother or fetus is at severe risk/death.

And I could walk around fine, perhaps just a bit slower. Worst thing was the stitches would pinch a little every now and then, but I was fully healed in about 2 weeks. Worst of it was the first 2-3 days and it wasn't even that bad. Gave birth with no meds, and didn't even feel myself tear. Not at all the same as being torn limb from limb, so your point proves nothing.

Some info (I'd like to clarify that i'm no expert)
The CDC says there were 620,327 abortions in the US in 2020 in the District of Columbia and 47 states.
In 2020 there were about 139,500 rapes and at least 1-5% of sexual assaults results in pregnancy.
Lets take 10% for example. That makes it about 14 000 pregnancies that came about from rape.
620 000 - 14 000 = 606 000 abortions.
I dont know the number for this but lets assume 50% of the remaining abortions were medicaly nessesary.
That still leaved us with 300 000 people in just one year using abortion as a means of birth control. 300 000 babies killed because adults can't figure their shit out.
300 000 is about a population of a country like Iceland, Barbados or French Guiana. A whole freaking country of people!
This isn't my narative, its simple math. Only 2.2% of the total amount of abortions in 2020 were the ones that came about because of rape. And I'm not the one to judge the poor SA'ed girls for wanting an abortion. But you gotta agree. The difference between the “giving up” your liver, a kidney or your blood argument is that , while all these organs could help another human being to survive, the sole purpose of the uterus is to create and bare another life. Basically, the bodily autonomy argument is this: Imagine you drive a car and crash into someone, and they are about to die unless you give them your blood because it is the perfect type. Even in this situation the government cannot make you give your blood even though morally you should give some blood. In this case, the government will charge you for murder because of your crash put the man to die NOT because you didn't give blood. And having sex is like driving and the accident in both cases is the crash and the pregnancy. For a while, this argument made sense to me until you start thinking about how even in the bodily autonomy world view you are still responsible for accidents done by choices you made and in the case of pregnancy you can't separate an appropriate "consequence" from the accident of sex causing a potential death and not saving a fetus inside you. I've come to the realization that you might as well carry it to term and put the baby for adoption/surrender the child. Abortions should just be emergency procedures when the life of the mother or fetus is at severe risk/death.

Nowhere in the 10 commandments does it say not to have sex before marriage; it says that elsewhere in the bible, but it is still to be obeyed.

They don't like the rules that commands us to inhibit our carnal desires. That is essentially the core of every one of their arguments.

THANK YOU! I've been making the separation of Church and State since about the 7th grade. That's when we first read the Constitution and I couldn't find those words anywhere. It got my attention because when I was in the third grade my teacher came in crying one day and took her photo of Jesus off the wall. She then explained why she had to take it down. . Seeing a grown up cry like that had a huge impact on me.
The thing with the 'separation of Church and State' was actually from a letter by Thomas Jefferson. And get this, the letter was to the minister of a church promising that the State would not be interfering with the running of the church.
So, to summarie; the phrase 'separation of Church and State' was a reassurance by Thomas Jefferson that the state would not stick their beaks where they don't belong.
These times we are living in are helping me to move back toward my Christian roots and for that I am thankful.
