I loved the cracks...it added an authentic look of marble. I won't use the spray paint when I first try this even though it is beautiful. I liked it y more simple looking before that addition.
    Great job again Tammy.

I totally agree, as you say Tammy, OH MY LADY GAGA, that is stunning!! I so want to try this because it seems pretty easy. I have to tell you that I could not wait to see the end result and did not want to fast forward to the end. Well worth waiting till the end. I'm definitely going to watch Erika's resin video too.

I love interference colors in fact I just ordered me a whole set and can't wait to use them along with all my other Micah's from Colorado and my bestie friend Millie it was so kind and sent me some Micah's. I can only imagine on a black background how thinning that would be as it is on a white as well, thanks for sharing enjoyed the video very much love the peace. Peace out

That would look stunning as an upcycled side table top. The cracking wasn’t so much a bad thing, it made it look more natural. I’d be interested to see if the different resin changes the spay paint, as I didn’t enjoy the outcome in the quickset. Gorgeous piece though!

  • @seasidekreations-australia

I love watching Erika do her resin artwork, I personally also love love love working with resin and mixed media. In between playing with resin I also am dabbling in acrylics and acrylic pouring. I really enjoy and get a lot of very useful information from your videos. I love that you have shown this technique using acrylic pouring then resin and the drip technique. Seeing that the white opal onyx works well both with resin, like Erika did and also, like you have done, with the acrylics I can play with both methods and have a lot fun.

  • @Mindyluvspilates

Tammy, this is phenomenal! When you started spraying the white paint over the resin, I thought what in the world is she doing?!? I think you could've gotten away with spraying the entire piece & using a spray bottle with the alcohol. It would look like lace!

Turned out great! Though I think the Rustolium brand of spray paint works best for the lacing effect you wanted, this one doesn't look bad at all despite not being as lacy. I wouldn't mind watching you try again with the proper resin (and spray paint). Thanks for sharing. 😁👍
