Thank you for bringing us along. My wife and I did the whole trail using bed and breakfasts instead of wild camping and its the best vacation we have ever been on. As we age we are becoming more fond of these long walks to keep in shape. You seemed like a calm and quiet person as well and it gives a relaxing feel for these walks. Thank you for doing this. We are coming over again next year from America and it seems like we will do the Pembrokeshire in Wales. Have a great time and keep doing these walks.
@johneikenmeyer8100 : Happy new year to you! And thank you for watching and taking time out to comment. Really pleased you enjoyed the video. These walks are really enjoyable as you have found out. I have a few more that I haven’t yet got round to editing. Have you been on a camino? Having not long completed one I can thoroughly recommend it. Glad you enjoy walking in the UK. The Pembrokeshire should be really good.
@@thecowboycamper1195 No sir we have not been on the camino. I think I will have to retire before walking on that one, but I also do not believe my wife is enthralled with that one yet. I believe after the Wales one that I can talk her into trying the coast to coast walk. I am going to try and find video on the Wales walks as well as we are looking at Kerry or Dingo way in Ireland.
I’ve done a video on the coast to coast if you have an opportunity to cast your eye over it. That might help a decision. And the camino vid will be out in a couple of months. If I can get a cheeky Pembrokeshire walk in and uploaded before you get to these shores I will try.
Cheers Del I really enjoyed that. Beautifully filmed and edited as usual. The Cotswolds is my usual Sunday ride out,and it was nice to see some new places I’m not familiar with.
Great video as always. Really captured the walk well. Not seen this route before, looked interesting and reasonably varied with some decent camp sites along the way. Great stuff.
@KatieMcManus : Thank you for watching. You are correct in that most of the time the time of year is missed out. I don’t always provide that info but will endeavour to continue to do do so.
Well done on a great and detailed insight in what seems to be a gruelling walk in sections and in mixed weather. Looks like you had a smashing eight days. Hope you didn't have to walk back to your car. Love the look of those old churches and stately home. Sixty four fifteen.
Nice one mate, I drove through the Cotswolds today then saw this video loaded when I got back! This is on my list for next spring. Doing the west highland way next month.
@jamesoutdoors.6450 : good to see you around! I’ve been itching to see some more of your content. Cheers for the support. Can’t wait for you to go on the West Highland way. You will love it. Good luck mate.
Thanks for the comments…. I think in all honesty it’s me rather than the Mike set up. I always hear my voice louder than it actually comes across. I shall amend that for the next video….. I’m just quietly spoken 😂
Thoroughly enjoyed that, if I may give positive feedback, your own audio was set lower than music soundtrack, I kept adjusting volume, I don't do vlogs, don't know how hard it is but enjoyed all the same. Thx
@steveparkinson8887 : thanks for watching. Any feedback is gratefully received. I’m not easily offended. You are not the first to comment regarding the audio. I am looking into it. I am a quiet speaker any way. And I hear myself louder than I actually am. I edit through headphones so it’s always fine for me. I will look to fix this moving forward. I thought I’d cracked it on this one. Hopefully it didn’t detract from any enjoyment. Thanks again.
There was (when I did it) an indian restaurant (Koloshi, with B&B rooms too, we stayed there) down by Dowdeswell for your day 2 food/water shortage. It is open at lunch time and from 5pm. Also at Bridlip (Day 3) a detour into the village will bring you to the Royal George Hotel for refreshments. On Day 4 if you opt for the longer route along the Stroudwater Canal and over Selsley common then it goes quite close to the Stroud Sainsbury's (otherwise you miss Kings Stanley on that route and it's a long hilly way to Dursley). Cam Long Down before Dursley is easilly the most challenging climb on the walk I think, and I have had both my feet go out from under me and mud toboggan on my back on that hill.
@sinbadwilmot417 : Handy hints. Thank you very much. Always good to receive information I wasn’t aware of. Also Thank you very much for taking time out to watch and comment.
Thoroughly enjoyed your commentary, well done!
Appreciate the comments. Thank you for watching and taking time out to get in touch
Love to see the Cotswolds Highlighted. Lots of exciting places to visit
@richardsoper : It’s a glorious place! Well worth visiting! Thanks for watching!

@TheWalkingKev : it is a great walk.. despite my protestations! 😂 I’d definitely recommend it.
Thank you for mentioning the time of year you traveled. So many others forget this very important bit of info. :)

The walk would most definitely suit you with regards the architectural vistas on show. Looks like you still have it! 64:15 indeed 😂

Another great watch! Some stunning countryside. Your updates are a little quiet mate, not sure if it's the mic.
