- Jomtien to Pattaya and back on the baht bus.
I always get asked how can you get from Jomtien to Pattaya or Pattaya to Jomtien and to My Bar. So i took the baht bus and made a video about it.
It is very simple and inexpensive and not a bad way to have a look around. But it may seem a bit daunting if you've never done it before. So check this out. Once you've done it once you'll be fine it's very simple.

There are a lot of videos on getting to Jomtien but I could not find any about getting from Jomtien to central Pattaya.
Last January I took a bolt back.
Ill be staying in Jomtien this January. I really appreciate you taking the time to make this easily understood Video.

Last time I was there there I really enjoyed taking the baht bus , it was a lot easier then walking in the heat haha

They kick u off terminal 21 pay 10 b then walk 100 m catch the loop again 10 b
You go to jontiem from Pattaya pay 20 b
Don’t ask them just pay I’ve lived he 10 years never had a problem, never paid a fine to police once , never found trouble , just act confident don’t ask tourist questions
Now if u think bus going wrong way don’t panic, get off look at google phone work it out catch next one their ever 30 seconds sometimes quicker
Top systems I live Japan and Sydney, Pattaya public transport blows them both away …. No cons test that’s why town loaded with old couples from west , not just old guys

G’day congrats, on your new bar it looks fantastic I love what you have done with it, I wish you all the success, After watching an older episode of yours about you helping your customer buy a scooter, great job by the way for you to take the time to help a customer, but I was somewhat concerned, ok the price of a new bike to you or me, and maybe your friend is not much, I was concerned with your friend lack of knowledge and the insistence of his hidden girlfriend to go for the more expensive new bike, have been living for many years on and off in Thailand, and over the years i have learnt to know the Thai girl mentality and it is raising a lot of red flags, in whose name is the scooter bought, owned, registered, I mention this because of my own experience after watching an older friend of mine go through a similar experience and not wanting your friend to get hurt, speaking of my own experience I think he would have been far better off with a cheaper low kilometre used scooter as a first bike, when I first came to Thailand (Phuket) in early 2000 my first bike was a Honda Click, for years I rode that scooter all over Phuket both single and two up, it was a great learning bike and for learning the Thai road rules and traffic, and with the intention to one day tour all of Thailand by bike, it was back in about 2017-18 I had been giving a lot of thought to relocating, retiring to Pattaya and opening a small business to keep me out of trouble (not a bar) but then COVID hit and you know all the problems that caused and it certainly put the brakes on my plans, but now with things on the up and returning to normal, and me taking early retirement again with the help of COVID, my thoughts are now back on track. When I do finally get things sorted out and settled, for me as an older rider and I think a scooter is more my fit also, I will be be buying a Honda ADV350 Adventure scooter mainly because of Honda dealer network, it’s reliability, Quality and resale value in Thailand and it’s not too big, not too small, when I do get the opportunity I will pop down for a visit and say hello.
