    My fav weapon so far is the scimitar of the seven, you can get it by completing the gerudo regional phenomenon and then rescuing the jeweler. It’s a one handed weapon with 28 base damage but any item you fuse to it gets doubled. It has 60 durability and can be repurchased once it breaks for 3 diamonds, 5 flint, and one gerudo scimitar. Rn I have a white lynel horn on there and it does 116 damage!

    In endgame, there are only 6 items you fuse to melee weapons. Silver lynel saber and mace horns for sharp and blunt damage respectively, molduga jaws for your bone proficiency weapons (scimitar of the 7 is very good for this, as well as the broken bone pristine royal claymore for easy lynel kills ) and then the three different gleeok horns for your elemental weapons. Also, lynel hoof arrows are armor piercing since they are considered blunt damage, making armored lynels are the easiest to take down because you dont have to headshot them if you have these. I hope this was helpful to at least one person, long live Hyrule and death to Ganondorf ✊🙂

    Fusing arrows with octorok balloons, stakes and hover stones activates their effects, tying the balloon to whatever object you strike, planting the stake to the ground and making the hovering platform hover in midair after traveling a short distance.
    You can also glue a platform to the stake after it has landed and use Rewind to create a platform that travels back the line you shot with the arrow.
    This works with most things that don't get destroyed after hitting the ground, but the stakes don't roll around, making them good for stable rewinding with something glued to it.
    If you do use something other than the stake, then you can hit a wall or something with the arrow, wait for it to fall and rewind to lift yourself to the spot the arrow hit. The object rolling around after landing will cause jank though.
    You can't rewind an octorok balloon after it has hit an object, which is unfortunate

    I notice on this game as well as BOTW people seem very concerned with finding, keeping, and repairing weapons, but for me the durability mechanic changed my thinking on this. I just started to think of shields & weapons as disposable, like arrows, and don’t really care when they break. Link’s talent in these latest Zelda games is to pick up and use everything in the environment, including weapons, and use them on the fly. Jason Bourne as a wood elf, so to speak.

    I'm surprised you didn't mention fusing blunt horns to shields, it's by far one of the most useful things I've come across because you don't have to constantly switch to your hammer weapon every time you want to break ores or stone armor (though for large stone matrices hammers are still better) and you don't have to waste a weapon slot if all your weapon slots are filled with good weapons that happen to not be blunt, or if you have just one blunt weapon but it's really good and not worth wasting to break ores.

    I like Zora weapons the best. They get their own attack power doubled plus whatever fusion part’s power also doubles whenever you get wet, which is really easy to apply. You could throw a splash fruit at your feet, or a regular chuchu jelly. If there’s a body of water, or even just a puddle you can refresh the wet effect there. You could activate Sidon’s sage ability or just use them In the rain, and you’ll always have that doubled attack power on Zora weapons.

      @TheElcollin 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Something I've always found myself annoyed with is my inventory being spammed with the garbage wooden weapons Bokoblins use after destroying one of their camps and I'm spamming A to loot the place.
    Until I had an idea...
    Embrace your inner WW2 soldier, take those garbage melee weapons and fuse a Bomb Flower to it. But don't swing it, throw it. I feel like Link throws weapons farther than raw materials. Sure, the blast instantly destroys the weapon it was fused to, but at least then the weapon has a purpose. So fuse a bunch of explosive flowers to wooden sticks, draw your arm back, and let 'em fly for some long-range boom.

    Best weapon by far any multi-shot bow. Why? You can do the rock octorok trick you mention and turn it into a 5-shot bow. Why is that the best weapon? Well if you're on the ball you know that attaching eyballs to arrows is a pretty good idea. Why? Eyeballs attached to arrows have a homing device, you don't even have to aim and you will hit a head shot, more effective. A multi-shot bow (let's use the Lynely bow for example) A multi-shot bow will only typically hit the target with One of those arrows, the others will miss unless you are very close which negates the value of bow. With arrows attached ALL of the arrows will hit a head shot and you don't even have to carefully aim. Net result:
    a Lynely bow has an attack power of 32X3. With a normal shot you will only hit with One arrow for an attack of 32. Attach the eyeball and now the same weapon has an attack of 96 and all shots will be head shots. Take that bow to an octorok to upgrade to a 5-shot bow and now your attack goes up to 160 (without degrading weapon and without having to wear a specific armor set and without having to do a being song-and-dance to get your weapon upgraded only to have it fail after a few hits) So now you have a weapon that hit's 5 head-shots with an attack power of 160. Oh, there's also the little detail that eyeballs have properties like Ice, fire, etc. So, now you have a 'ice' weapon, shoot from a distance, shoots on the run, Hits 5 head-shots with 160 attack and you can keep that forever by just going to a octorock for repair. Oh, for items that require a club just attach bombs to your arrows. (a good alternative is a Scimitar of the 7 or even the simpler to get gerudo scimitar with a Molduga Jaw attached. You won't get a better club than that. Ultimately though for me there is no better weapon than the multi-shot bow with eyballs attached. YOu can dispatch almost any enemy without suffering any damage. This is especially effective when fighting gloom hands. Get up on a ledge so they can't get to you and just start firing off eyeball arrows and you'll never have a scratch..

    How to get what I call “Lynel’s Demise”
    (You need a silver lynel horn)
    Go to Hyrule Castle’s Sanctum. From rubble at the center, face northwest and you should see a broken horse statue. Head there and go behind it. You will find a decayed royal guard’s claymore. Fuse a silver lynel horn to it. Downslam until it says “Your Royal Guard’s Claymore is badly damaged”. Save the file and count how many downslams it takes till it breaks (ex. 4 hits till breaking, downslam 3x) Reload the file and downslam until it is at its last downslam before breaking.
    (Optional) Eat attack up food or get attack up armor
    Thats it!

    No need for a rock hammer when you can fuse the zonai cannon attachments to a weapon and those will blow up rocks way faster and only uses energy vs wear and tear on a weapon

      Silver lynal horn on an almost broken +10 royal guard greatsword is the highest I've seen. 84 sword damage, 110 infusion. 194 total.

    • @ltmuffler3482
      @ltmuffler3482 ปีที่แล้ว

      For a weapon to use against non-lynel enemies, gerudo weapons double the fuse material bonus. Highest you could get for weapons that aren't nearly broken guard swords would be a +10 gerudo claymore. 20 weapon, 110 silver lynel horn for 130 total. I'd probably run a durability up gerudo sword though for longevity. You still get a 118 damage weapon.

      (Sorry for the replies instead of edits. Phone sucks...) just picked up a pristine gerudo scimitar under the desert. 17 damage, came with durability++ lol. That'll make a 127 damage weapon

    • @ltmuffler3482
      @ltmuffler3482 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, carry around an ice wand. Freeze damage is 3x (damage you do hitting a frozen enemy). 127 trippled will kill almost anything I think...

    Ice into fire attacks do not give extra damage. It is simply that each does core elemental damage. Ice deals +10 dmg and it guaranties a crit when they are next hit (so long as they are frozen). Fire deals only +10 dmg and the "on fire" animation. Electric, however, deals +20 dmg and disarms the enemy. These elements do not have functional synergy, it just seems like extra damage.

      Just figure out how to use anything you find. I didn’t like it in botw until I learned some tricks, freeze everything first, also throw weapons to do more damage before they break, sneaking too. I think in the early game when your inventory is limited, the durability should be better.
      If I were in charge, things would be different….

  • @mivuh
    @mivuh ปีที่แล้ว

    for a person like me who likes consitency that breakable weapon system is completely stupid for me - i fucking hate it.
    Was shit in botw and its still shit.
    Imagine you just want to play but first you need to go through a fucking "farming route" to repair/prepare your shit - otherwise its just gone and you need to farm them again. Its a stupid MMO like farming-feature in a single player game which makes zero sense and doenst add anything good.
    The variaty is amazing in this game but i just dont get it why there is no NPC who just repares all of your inventory for rupees.
    Dont get me wrong, i still think this game is a 10/10 and imo the best zelda game ever made. But i cannot stand this stupid "feature".

      I'm at 15 hearts, 2 stamina wheels, 3.6 energy cells, and 3 dungeons done. Only now am I looking at farming for specific weapons, and only because I'm a min maxer at heart. You can generally just go through the game picking up monster weapons and components and fusing those to fight with. But, yes, to get the best of the best, you need to go out of your way (and kill a lot of silver lynels...)
