The aim is not "feeling" a certain way, but rather accepting them and managing in spite of them.

Very good video.. I did act therapy and that was one of the things she said, get off your buts and replace with an and.. I'd kinda forgot that to a point do thank you for reminding me plus using your technique (the hard feelings first but what you did.. My real life example. My balance felt off, scared I was going to fall over, my anxiety through the roof and mood on the ground but I went outsude and met a friend, well done me (pat on the back, plus evidence I did it for future times. M thanks again.. Very powerful video.

My driving instructor once gave me a very good tip. The "potitivity sandwich"
At the end of the lesson, he'd give me some feedback about how my driving was. But he'd do it in a very clever way.
Step one: Talk about what he liked. List a good thing. "You matched the speed of traffic really well when merging into lanes today"
Step two: Something that can be improved next time. "I noticed you seemed to hesitate at roundabouts, so maybe we should focus on that next week"
Step three: Another positive. "However, when you were on the roundabout, you were pretty much flawless. You took the correct lane, you indicated properly, it was brilliant"
And honestly it was the best thing he's ever taught me.

Thanks. Mind uses but , other and, to overpower our being. It is non existent ,. But but but.. it is a constant practice. Well. There are always exception. We can't generalize any strategy. Yet good educating video. We all have tendencies to be poor me pity me. Self sabotage. Hence mind presents self defeating thoughts. Takes time to get out of this self created mentality. Gratitude. 🌷🌺💙

What about And? Instead of But? Not that reframing is terribly easy. 😬
