Everest Base Camp trek | Kathmandu to Ramechhap then Lukla | EBC trek

This vlog is to share our experience of EBC trekking with a family .
We travelled from Kathmandu to Ramechhap by road which takes around 4.5-5 hours12. From Ramechhap, we Took a flight to Lukla which takes around 20 minutes with amazing views of the Himalayan mountain ranges. Some breath taking view of the peak. From Lukla trekking starts, our destination for today is Phakding.
We Walk for around 5 hours through villages, forests, and some long pass bridges to reach Phakding and stay there for the night at Sherpa Guide lodge.

Gracias por compartir este video. En mayo voy a ir a Kathmandu para desde allí ir a Lukla, pero me han dicho que algunos días los aviones salen desde Ramecchap y tengo que ir en coche durante 4 horas desde Kathmandu a Ramecchap.

Next May, I,ll go to Kathmandu and then, to Lukla.
But anybody said me that some days the airplanes start in Ramecchap, so I,ll have to go from Kathmandu to Ramecchap, driving for 4 hours.

Thank you, yes April, May are busiest month for EBC trek, kathmandu airport does not have capacity to handle the traffic. So it from Ramechhap.

You can also check the yeti airlines website for booking now. You will be able to see there origin and destination what it is showing , ramechhap or kathmandu for May

Mine entire trip was arranged by travel agency for 3 of us. Do know have break up for the taxi. You should start by 3:30 am not later
