For the second way or option to rotate the project or structure, I prefer using the second way for keyplan purposes wherein i need to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. Thank you for sharing this two methods. Concise and straight to the point!

The 2nd method can be used when the height of the view due to the scale is larger then the width for example.

I prefer to use second option when you have difficulty in placing the plan and finding the length does not fit the sheet, by rotating it, enables you to fit and place it without the inconvenience of having to realign components etc.My opinion anyhow.There is also a method of customising the title so it does not rotate annoyingly too.
