The funny part is that Reverend Putty’s character is exactly how you’d imagine if Rigby was a priest 😂 He also has a bit of character development at the end like Rigby does.
Funny thing, that character undergoes some pretty good character development and by the end of the series is one of the few decent adults in the whole town
It was definitely a bit more mature in the first season before it got censored. They deadass got away with saying "You pissed me off" and alluding to alcoholism with the Clown guy. Considering certain parts of Adventure Time's first season and Robotomy even being a thing on the channel, Cartoon Network was certainly going through a weird phase in the early 2010s.
