Bird Identification - Dove - White Winged Dove

Backyard birds: White Winged Dove - Extreme Close Up. They have such beautiful iridescent feathers and incredible colors. It almost looks painted around the eye. Incredible!
These are such gentle birds. It's lovely to watch them.
Bird identification: White Winged Dove
Large, overall gray dove with striking blue ring around the eye, partial black line high on the side of the neck, and white markings on the outer edge of the wing when folded and at rest. In flight, these white markings are highly visible and run the full length of the outer edge of the wing matching white markings on the tail when spread.
