Lovely road movie, happy that you shared to us. 😊 I am just planning my trip for 2024 and searching for somebody to hike with. Beautiful hiking trail. ❤️
An amazing video capture! The music is totally new for me but I simply love the music choice you made! A very big THANK to you for sharing your love to others who also loves the same fells and mountains and pristine pure nature in it s grandeur! Wishing you all the best always and safe hiking trips in future! 🙏💯💝
Thank you for your kind words! The first song is in Danish, by the Danish singer Myrkur. I had it in repeat the first days of the hike, due to the gloomy weather. It felt like something from the old days, so I thought it would be a nice fit to use the song in my video ☺️
What an incredible journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Lapland! 🏞 Your solo hike along the Kungsleden Trail truly captures the magic of Sapmí. The mix of ancient mountains, vibrant fauna, and serene nights creates a mesmerizing experience. 🌄 Thanks for sharing this awe-inspiring adventure! 🌟
You're welcome! Your description truly captures the essence of the landscape's timeless beauty - every breath seems to hold the whispers of ancient power. ☺🌿@@KatGoesNorth
Its a Really Nice video and Beautiful nature. Looks like a Very Nice hike love the Beautiful landscabes. Thanks for sharing this great video this is cool. 🙃🙂🙃
I know this area from winter, equally beautiful then but in a different way. Some impressive shots, really beautiful and well put together, although does shift around from area to area a little. Think I might try in autumn next year, it looks really worthwhile. Many thanks for sharing.
Thank you! And yes, I carried everything I needed. I did buy some snacks at Teusajaure and Saltoluokta but that was only because I felt like it, not because I needed it 😊 it is possible to resupply plenty of times at this part of the trail (as well as the most northern part to Abisko). From Kvikkjokk and heading south I believe it’s more difficult but I haven’t hiked that part yet so I don’t know for sure.
Thanks! And that sounds great, I hope you have a wonderful time! I brought my phone (iPhone 11 pro) which I used mostly for filming, and my dslr (canon 60d, with a wide lens). I can’t carry anymore than that, and it meets my needs.
@@KatGoesNorth Thank you for the reply! I also bring my Iphone, and I'm worried about my battery... were there any place to charge battery in some cabins?
@@theadventuresofshun7632 I never stay at the cabins, I always bring my tent (I’m cheap like that 😅). I wouldn’t count on outlets in the cabins, but I also always bring a powerbank (12.000 amp, with the possibility of solar charging), that have always been enough. I also make sure my phone is on flight mode most of the time and make sure not to view footage etc while hiking. I would suggest, if you can, to try and stimulate your expected usage in your daily life and then use a power bank instead of an outlet to charge your phone. That should give you a pretty good idea of how big a powerbank you’ll need. At the big STF mountain stations/ fjällstations like Abisko, Kvikkjokk and Saltoluokta, they have outlets so you can recharge your powerbank there ☺️
I seem to remember spending around 9 days from Nikkaluokta to Kvikkjokk. I followed the official stops each day, some days going a little shorter or a little longer depending on where I wanted to pitch my tent. The day from Vakkotavare to Saltoluokta was primarily a travel day, as you have to take a bus to get back on the trail. I did however end up walking more than I had anticipated for that day, since there wasn’t a lot of water in the area once you’d left the forests around Saltoluokta. So I just walked until I found water. This was in august.

I haven’t visited during winter yet, but I can imagine it’s just as beautiful then. I can only recommend the hike, the surroundings are stunning.

Hi. What is the first song title?
Hello! The first song is called "Tor in Helheim" by Myrkur
How long did it take you to get from A to B? We are planning on going to walk this part this July
I seem to remember spending around 9 days from Nikkaluokta to Kvikkjokk. I followed the official stops each day, some days going a little shorter or a little longer depending on where I wanted to pitch my tent.
