As an apostolic/Pentecostal person, all I can say is pray for him. Pray that he and his family get baptist in Jesus name, and receive the Holy Ghost Act 2:38. I heard from my Pastor that our Superintendant was present when Pres. George Bush Jr. received the Holy Ghost at a prayer meeting at the White House. I always liked him because he was open and true about his faith in God. I nevercared for Clinton because of things he did while in the White House. this is wonderful because of the position he held actually. how hard would the spiritual battle be for a man with this kind of power to come to know truth. it also is a testament to the fruit shown in the believer for those that shown the light of Christ to Mr Clinton. the very fact that he speaks so highly of our churches example of Christ allows so many ppl to be reached. The Pentecostals were untouched and many now live in the US, most of them filthy rich. I heard that straight from a Romanian refugee here in the US. Would love to see the opportunities Bill and Hillary have been given manifest fruit bringing forth repentance. He seems to have a tender heart toward God at least when he’s around that atmosphere. Ashley, I am certainly a sinner and will not escape that fact until I get to heaven (there is no sinless human on Earth), but I am saved and bear fruit of sanctification. I see myself as just one beggar showing another beggar where the food resides. My comment was brief, true and defensible. Clinton has a body of work that qualifies him for the expression I made of him. It's sad but true. However, Paul himself was a vile persecutor of the fledgling church but was saved and became the co-author of much of the New Testament (under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit). He also died for his belief in Christ's salvific work. There is hope for Bill also.
You were right that God loves his people, but for those who choose to reject his offer of salvation, there will be hell to pay, literally. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23 ESV). The context makes it clear that this is an eternal death/ life in view. I pray that Clinton and other wolves repent, but if they don't they have damned themselves eternally. And unfortunately they spread their cancerous, immoral ideologies to their victims. Hence my comment.
