SES Star of War Reporting in. The unrelenting Terminid attacks were a slog, but the ship was able to earn enough medals from that campaign to nearly fully unlock the Truth Enforcers Warbond as a result, and OMG the SG-20 Halt and SMG-32 Reprimand SLAP! The Reprimand has become the favoured weapon for our Helldivers when deploying to the Terminid front, as it has enough armour pen to deal with both Hive Guard and Brood Commanders, while retaining a high enough rate of fire and ammo count to reliably deal with smaller enemies as well (recoil is a b*#@% tho, recommend short sharp bursts for greatest effectiveness). The Halt meanwhile is more favoured against the Automatons, thanks to its higher damage rating, neither gun can penetrate the Heavy Devastator’s shields, but they don’t have to, we here aboard the Star of War have been making use of the lighter armour available in the Truth Enforcer Warbond to flank the enemies of Managed Democracy, and fill them full of hot Libertea 😎, the Halt also hits harder than the Reprimand does which is vital for the bots, as the stagger it causes throws off their accuracy. In short, a fantastic addition to the Star of War’s armoury, many thanks to High Command for these, they will see much use with us. The Star of War was present for much of the evacuation operation of civilians to the DSS, though the ship was recalled to Super Earth for maintenance and shore leave (crew family matters, all that). Doesn't help that so many players are just stup- I mean... so many players lack the adequate liberty to understand how the galactic war works.
People complain about the war "being undone" but this is essentially exactly how the first game worked, as well as how a 2 front war against such enemies would work. It is meant to be frustrating. It is going to go back and forth. The gloom is a super spore spreading menace, and tyranny Park was the most obvious level of "wait until this goes wrong" writing we've had in the game since the TCS towers lmao. Just wait until the Squids get here and see how bad things really can be.
@HandOfThemis Yeah I understand that. It makes sense why they'd design it that way. I just think it could harm people's engagement in the long term and prevent people from returning to the game. None of us want the war to end or anything, but just a simple lasting victory like Malevelon Creek would be really nice right now.
@guywhoexists248 The DSS is said lasting victory. The bugs will essentially never get one of those, save for maybe the research center. The bugs are where 80% of the casual/no-brainer players are, and thus there can never be peace, just war. If we push the bugs back to the border planets again, it'll just be endless fighting of the same border planets we can't take. We only were able to get The Creek due to the obvious target of the Bots being Cyberstan, and they didn't care what they lost to take it.

SES keeper of peace out.
You guys complain about this gambit, but failed to see the broader picture here. Its a -1 decay rate and had 0% liberation. We needed essentially every available diver to fight here in order to win the gambit. While it would have been very cool to save these worlds, we would be guaranteeing the loss of Masira and Gaellivare. Tyranny Park and those bug words are NOT worth the DSS, sorry. People complain a out the back and forth taking of worlds, which to me just shows rhat they are tourists to this series. This is exactly how game 1 went, and we will only have more of this style of combat after more difficult enemies appear, and the Squid show up.
@@phillipgrubb2443 it really wasn't, basic math would show you this. We didn't have the numbers at the time to deal with the strong decay rate. We had 25k on the planet with not a single percentage. 0%. As in, not 1. If we took the other ~20k players and put them there, it wouldn't have been any better. The bugs were QUICKLY taking the Planet. Not to mention that those planets (save for the research cente) are infinitely less important than the DSS. You remember the right? That big spacestation we've been working on for about two months now? Yeah, ignoring the Jet Brigade means losing that. Those bug planers being lost does indeed suck, but it's not worth losing 2 months of progress over. We've taken the same amount of planets in 2 weeks.
Maaaaan I just started shore leave (started a new Turnip28 project) but it looks like I'll have to put that on hold for now lol Kai's Commandos I know are planning on the Acamar IV gambit.
The Helldivers playerbase are really really dumb for not doing more to liberate bug worlds but oh a single planet comes under attack by the robots and everyone jumps at the opportunity to kill more robots meanwhile we lose world after world after world after world to the bugs
That is not what happened. The majority of bug players went to the defense of Turing, when they could've defended Acamar IV and saved FIVE PLANETS, but no, they went for Turing. Only NOW are they defending Acamar IV. Id also argue defending from the bots is the better thing to do, because if they take Gaellivare, there won't be a DSS to fuel.
Sweet Liberty not Tyranny Park!!!
Excited to compile the efforts in the coming days. An exciting finale for the DSS!

So we can submit clips to your email? and they might make it in a video? any other details?
Typically best to keep them under 30 seconds and higher frame rates are preferred!
Maaaaan I just started shore leave (started a new Turnip28 project) but it looks like I'll have to put that on hold for now lol
Kai's Commandos I know are planning on the Acamar IV gambit.
I’m tired, boss
Please go back to daily or 2-3 daily uploads it was so much better to get a quick Galactic war update
Theres a total of 5 planets under siege. The Jet brigades on it's bullshit and i still haven't seen the xbox reinforcements. What the fuck command?
I swear if they delay the dss becuse of this mo ..
People need to understand, we sill continue to fail because the Devs don't have the DSS ready.
No mate that is literally just a excuse we keep failing because the devs are perfectly fine with us failing go play helldivers One
