Period) If that doesn't tell you how epic this story is, then I don't know what will lol. The characters, the plot, the emotion, everything is impeccable. Must Watch.

The separation about 13 openings in, the time skip, the important characters, HANCOCK WAIFU. I've seen the Attack on Titan and the One Piece reactions, and in both his deductions skills are really top notch, congratulations man.

Yeah, your in for a real treat, definitely my favorite show ever! Amazing world building and attention to detail, very little filler, overall, super solid stuff. Although, quick tip, for keeping track of the storylines the fan base doesn't say seasons, we have what we call arcs and sagas. For example, the little garden arc in the alabasta saga.

Generally the opening in one piece almost never show something about the story, only little fragments but not so much. When the current arc is in the middle they change the video a little more
Btw, fight together and hope (14 and 20) are my favorite openings. They're both sung by the same artist and make me the most emotional. You'll understand why, eventually. Very good on picking up major plot points, btw. I'm so excited for you to start this.

@Аlex Kalinin Ya, honestly ... I agree. My main issue with how they do it right now is it often can feel like absolutely nothing happens in some episodes. I am not even kidding that some episodes you can explain everything that happened in a single short sentence. It's really the only reason One Piece has as many episodes as it does. I would be willing to bet if they didn't do that, they would likely only be at around 300 - 400 eps.

just because it's the best selling manga doesn't mean it'll appeal to everyone. also, how many copies get sold doesn't mean anything if the storyline, characters and world building is shit. you have to state WHY it's worth getting into.

@@RadioKnive i mean, i don't like dragged out anime, but i don't like anime that are too short either. the most i can watch is up to 5-6 seasons, depending on how many episodes each season has.

Ya, honestly ... I agree. My main issue with how they do it right now is it often can feel like absolutely nothing happens in some episodes. I am not even kidding that some episodes you can explain everything that happened in a single short sentence. It's really the only reason One Piece has as many episodes as it does.
I would be willing to bet if they didn't do that, they would likely only be at around 300 - 400 eps.
