    I recently found out that you can have 12 mono samples played at the same time, or 6 stereo - but if you have one stereo and rest is mono - it is still 6 at the same time.

      The polyphony on the KO-2 is tricky. I always use mono samples for my drums and bass. That helps with the polyphony. Thanks so much for watching and taking time to comment.

      I love his channel my brother but it's still a toy no matter how you look at it. It's a toy and if you like spending money on toys then pretty short. They're going to make a lot of new toys coming out next year. I look forward to seeing your postings

      @@seangooden4746 Hello my friend. I LOVE sampling from anything toys and crap included because all devices can bring a unique fun character to the sample. I have been using my K.O.II to sample by only using the built in microphone and holding it up to my iPad and other sources and the background room ambience and air leaks in and it’s creating some Great artifacts. Then at some point I’ll process them through my DBX 676 or my Drawmer and feed them into my MPC, S2400 or Ableton and have more fun. I just love to create with Fun tools and do my own thing. But I Hear what you’re saying👊🏾

      @@seangooden4746I thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. It is definitely a budget sampler. I believe TE is testing the waters for something even larger but time will tell. This unit will appeal to those on a budget and those that want portability.

      @@Kejo2You are absolutely correct! I have been doing the same with the built in mic sampling from my tablet and cellphone speakers. It creates a rich warm lo-fi texture which is the sound I am into. I also own MPC's and the S2400. Using something like the KO2 in tandem with other samplers expands the possibilities. Thanks for watching.

    You are definitely wearing the Boom Bap Kingdom title off this track… love your true to originality rapping using no curse words. This track is really a banger. Thx 🙏🏽 for showing why you are the true king of boom bap in my opinion bar none.

    What are you recording your raps into? Track goes hard. I got an ep133 and wanna rap over it but not sure how to combine the audio of me rapping with the ep133. I dont own a computer so any advice is appreciated

      You will need a laptop, mic, mic stand, a usb interface and some sort of DAW "digital audio workstation" software. There are affordable options that won't put a heavy load on your cpu such as Traction Waveform or Reaper. I have both but use Reaper a bit more. You can also go dawless with something like the Model 12 from Tascam but to master, and make your songs ready to post online, I would suggest you invest in a computer. PC's that run Windows are generally more affordable than Apple Macs. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

    Is there a way to delete samples from the ko, or do you have to use the utility tool on the computer?

    • @theboombapkingdom8628
      @theboombapkingdom8628  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes you can do a couple things. If you want to keep the sound in memory but free up the pad select the pad then press and hold sound and type 00 and press enter. That assigns no sound to the pad and free it up. To delete the sample from memory completely select the pad then hold (ERASE) and (SOUND) until SND blinks on the screen to permanently remove the currently selected sample from device memory.

    Can do that with an IPAD and Koala sampler.

      You can go to literally any video about any hardware and make that same comment, what a fucken pointless thing to say

    • @theboombapkingdom8628
      @theboombapkingdom8628  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I have Koala and yes you can do similar things but there is something to be said about working on a hardware sampler. For me I do not get the same satisfaction on tablets and laptops. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Your respect your channel but that's a bunch of crap. That's a toy. I want to see you hook that up to all that other stuff you got and make some real music. I love your channel. Don't come into the new year. Come out and toys. Keep it real boom backis not about no toys. You can't hook that up to no type of audio devices and make it sound good. Don't let me have to be like ea ski on you

      @theboombapkingdom8628  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      The unit is nicer than you think. Is it a Rossum SP1200 or an Isla S2400? Nope, but it sounds good, the work flow is good and it's a budget friendly sampler. It's not for everyone granted but it's fun to work on. Thanks for watching.
