This sounds like the blame is put on the wife. There is nothing she did or didn’t do that causes him act disrespectful, it’s a choice he’s making. What I heard was he’s looking because he’s not satisfied in the marriage, if the wife makes changes and improves herself then the marriage will be better and he’ll stop looking. My husband has an issues with this and it’s caused a huge problem in our marriage. He battled a porn addiction and went as far as to have an affair and still struggles with looking and lust. He has childhood trauma and was raised by a narcissistic mother who serial cheated on his dad. Dad was absent driving truck. His issues run deep and have nothing to do with me. My reality was a lie because he chose to lie & hide his true self from me. I’m not carrying my own trauma and deep wounds because of his choices. Men that decide to disrespect their spouse are solely responsible for fixing what they broke.

I never put "blame" on anyone, just tell the truth. Your mind has bought into so many nonsensical western psych theories that cause so much suffering because you agree with your mind. Learn to love!!! themarriagefoundation.org/reviews/ and you will do much better

      I completely agree.
Leave him. There is so much addiction to pornography !
And there are so many women there without moral.
Where is the respect for herself?

Just face the facts, us men love to look at other women, whether married or not. The sooner you realize this they’re better off you will be in the long run.

I’m not improving anything about myself. If I catch him staring again I’m going to divorce him.

@@TheMarriageFoundation why do you say she should change but said nothing about him changing? You come across as if man does no wrong, women need to fix the problems.

@@TheMarriageFoundation Maybe the wife should start actively flirting in front of the husband everywhere they go with every bagboy, waiter, poolboy and mechanic. Then we can blame the husband for not being good enough. He can work on fixing his abs, hairline & attitude so the wife quits flirting. Just a thought...

You mention n your video that a woman needs to do some things to have your husband look at her with love and longing. What do I need to do to help him look at me that way; what specifically does my husband need from me to have him draw closer to me (in love and longing). This situation has deeply hurt me and I’m separating myself from him because of the hurt. This has not helped the relationship.

There are many things to do to improve our marriage but it all starts with learning how to change ourselves from the inside out and learn how to be married...not easy but well worth it themarriagefoundation.org/about/our-approach/

Isn’t it human nature to look or stare?

Yes, but why reduce yourself by acting from your primal instincts where pain and suffering are assured when you can lift yourself to higher states where joy is assured.

Also looking briefly is not the same as staring.

I won't seek out looking at other men's bodies out of respect for husband. If I notice an attractive person, I look and then take my gaze elsewhere. My husband can stare at a very young female for 10 straight minutes with desire and longing.

@@sushisue42I feel your pain. My husband has been this way over 20 years and it took away my desire for him sexually. Otherwise our marriage looks good. But inside I’m not good and I’ve stopped liking him. He just did it again yesterday. He is looking at women as we’re walking toward them and they start smiling flirtatiously at him and he says he does not know why. He’s actually playing in my face. It’s narcissistic and the sad thing is I’m done.
