    For the Charger to keep it cool and the Battery also, Build a Cradle out of Hard Wood to get the Charger and Battery off the Table. Cut your Wood into 3/4" strips and Glue and Brad Nail it together. Then From Walmart you can buy online a Honeywell Round Table top Fan that is about 12 inches in Diameter. Plug your Charger and Fan into a power strip. I have a Onewheel and the Charger gets Hot also. What I do is, the Air from the Fan hits the Battery Compartment first (because it is the Coolest) then the Air blows over the Charger. Now the Charger stays 1 to 2 degrees over Room Temp. This has to help the life span for the Charger, and Heat is the Enemy of any battery. Using this set up I can keep my Battery 21 degrees Cooler while Charging.

    Very nice Ride. I have the same Bike and really like it a lot. How difficult is it to get the mirror installed? does the end cap pull out? How does that work?

    • @Marvelofebikes
      @Marvelofebikes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mirror is very easy to install. The end cap, in my case, unscrews, then the mirror slides in and gets tight as you use tighten. Very easy!

      This worked perfectly for me as well. The end cap pulled out with a little effort,

    My power brick also got very hot to the touch however I now point a small fan on it every time I charge it and it no longer gets hot to the touch anymore. I recommend trying that.

    • @Marvelofebikes

      Not a bad idea. Just want to make sure that is normal! Thanks

    • @MrKenRury
      @MrKenRury 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not normal. How hot is it where you charge? If above 70F bring indoors to charge if you have a cooler area and add timer. Don't charge longer than necessary and not more than 12 hrs. I use a timer and a smoke detector.

    • @Marvelofebikes
      @Marvelofebikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrKenRury thanks Ken. I charge inside where it’s cool and don’t exceed 3 hours. I may take a surface temp check to see how warm it really is but for now, I am limiting it. Does charge up in about 3 hours. Thanks!

    Congrats on your new Aventon Aventure! Good job on the video! (thumbs up and subbed you). My sister and I just got a pair of Aventures and I made a video for mine too. We are loving our bikes. Btw, I haven't noticed the charger getting hot as you described. You mentioned the C9 seat and I bought one and love that too but what I really like is the suspension seat post, it made a huge difference... note: I added a red spring for weights of 180+. I've added a few more things and need to do another video soon.

    Thanks for your video. Question please. You mentioned that you required warranty service for your front spoke. How did Aventon warranty service work as many have stated that Aventon has no customer service. I about to purchase a Rad or a Aventon. Still not sure. Thanks

    Did you front tire rub slightly on the brake and make a slight sliding noise? Mine is doing it. Haven't rode it yet as I just built it but when I push it it makes the noise.

    • @Marvelofebikes
      @Marvelofebikes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No but if you watch episode 1, the unboxing, I cover how to center the pads. Losses the two bolts holding the brake. Then squeeze the brake and tighten bolts while squeezing the brakes. This will center the pads so the tire spins freely. This is a assuming no warped rotors. Let me know!

    I'm having problems with my battery falling out. The first time I was 3 miles from home and had to ride back carrying the battery. I was lucky it fell out while I was waiting for a light to change and not going 25 mph. I definitely lock it properly and it passes the pull test. I even wedge a thin knife into the seam and the battery does not pop out. I'm waiting for them to respond but in the meantime I'm securing it with a Velcro strap. I did 20 miles today and at the 18th mile it popped out but the strap kept it from falling. I believe the locking mechanism is weak for the battery weight and vibration. Trying to let others know about this. It could be very dangerous if it falls out at high speed. Nice video BTW.

    • @Marvelofebikes
      @Marvelofebikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to hear that. That is a major issue. I hope they will take care of that. I will check my battery for sure. Let me know what they say. I heard back in my case and they are sending me a new fork. Keep me posted!

    Can you specify what grips you got, where you got them and how well you think they perform? Especially how well you like them and the cost value. I too have the Sena M1 helmets for both me and wife. Most excellent to hear each other long as we are in sight. Wife wants me to wear it all the time around the house now so she can find me and I can hear her. Ha!

      The grips are Top cabin from Amazon. I paid $10.85 for them. They are locking and come in different colors. Great value, great quality! Would certainly give them a try! I kept the originals but keeping these for sure. I gotta wife like that too! Lol

    How do you like that phone mount and what model/brand did you end up getting?

    • @Marvelofebikes
      @Marvelofebikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got the Visnfa phone mount on Amazon. Great mount and your phone won't fall off for sure. The mounting bracket which attaches to the handlebar is great. The issue I have is the phone is attached at the corners which covers up the back camera on my iPhone. I did this video with the iPhone on the mount but used the front camera while I was riding. I have since moved the phone to the top of the frame with the Rockbros bike bag I also got from Amazon, but have the option to use both. The Rockbros works well there but I can't really use the camera and faceID is a bit blocked. The Visnfa mount is fine if you just need to secure your phone. Placing and removing is easy. Just didn't like how it made the handlebars look, being so big since I have a large phone. Can't go wrong!
