Today another very interesting movie. This time I wash a very large, antique, wool rug with beautiful, unique patterns that resemble the holy grail 😍.
The carpet was very badly trampled, not cleaned for several years. After washing it is soft and fluffy again and the beautiful patterns have gained contrast 💪😍🌊. I invite you to watch.

This rug is so intricate, it makes me think someone spent a lot of time designing and creating it. I'm happy for their sake that you put so much effort into restoring and caring for them when many people just throw them away.

What a gorgeous rug! I agree with others that the yellow color is probably transient dye, and perhaps, years of cigarette smoke/nicotine. In the end, it looked like new again! Great work, Jakub!
I came to the comments wondering if anyone had an explanation for the color of the water. My best guess was that someone was letting pets use this as a toilet 😬
@@enicole1203 I don't think that was what happened here... On the backside of the rug, there would have been stains/rings from animal pee -- but there were none!

I knew the second this rug was first unrolled...The ornate patterns mixed with lots of interwoven whites and light tans the results would be outstanding. A beautiful rug and excellent refurbishment and cleaning. Many more years of service for this antique wool.

Am I the only crazy one to say what I enjoy the most is the noise it makes when he’s scraping the water off the floor? I just said the one extra slo-mo on the third scraping, was my all-time favorite! That water was such a glorious color at that point in the cleaning. It's such a small part of the whole cleaning - I enjoy it when it comes. We enjoy what we enjoy, right?! Peace and light, ruggie friend! ❤️❤️🌵🌻

You have to wonder what went on in that home to get the rug so dirty. It's possible it was just dye running out, if it was the first wash, You do such good work bringing these abused carpets back to their splendor!
A lot of loose dye in that one, but you turned a pretty rug, into a GORGEOUS rug.

While I was on YT today another carpet cleaner came up as an option to watch. I watched it and was very disappointed in the results of this person's cleaning of their carpet. Jakub, you are clearly a master with all your methodical techniques and expertise in carpet cleaning. There is no comparison in the results you get vs this other channel. Needless to say I will not be watching any other carpet cleaning videos. Yours will be the only one I watch. I truely admire your skill at carpet cleaning. You certainly bring back life to the carpets you clean. Now to sit back and watch your relaxing video. Thank you for what you do.

🖐😄 Hi all and this will be another interesting rug to see 👀Jakub clean! I know he will do his very best as he always do! Today we have cold 🥶 weather and it has snowed here and now it's raining too from minus degrees to plus degrees in a few hours! The weather is for sure very strange! Take care of yourself, big hugs ❤🥰🤗 from me 👱♀️and Trollet🐱. Ps. I'm doing laundry now in our laundry room in the cellar, and Trollet sleeps in his basket on our kitchen table so he can keep an eye on the birds 🐦 outside when he wakes up from his cat nap.
Let's hope the weather changes soon or else I will ask for such a basket and sleep for hours by the window 😅😁💖🤗😍😴
@ Yes me too and he has an old wicker 🧺 basket with soft bedding that my mother used for the white linnen sheets ( used in the bed 🛌) after mangling them in the laundry room in the mangel ( I don't know the proper word for it on English but mangle and mangled perhaps ) like they used to do before with all such items done in linnen who was washed in 95 degrees. It removed the creases in the cloth and made it shiny. I have helped my grandmother preparing the rolls for the machine and it was important to always have a roll in the mangel otherwise the top of the mangel come crashing down with a big bang. The weather is like a roller coaster, with the temperatures going up and down! It’s supposed to be kind of warm for the next couple days in my neck of the woods, then go back to being cold again. I always like reading about the weather over your way, and about your cat! Give Trollet a hug for me, and you all stay warm and safe!🐈🙂

Hello, ruggies! 👋👋👋 I'm so thankful I'm able to watch Jakub any time I please. I am so impatient that anyone else in the house would have to be on my viewing schedule! Will the boys be disappointed that they didn't get to see it? Are you all having chilly temps over there? I still haven't turned on my furnace for the winter. It's so late in the season now, I kind of want to see if I can go the entire winter. Lots of layers of clothing, and lots of blankets while sitting, that's how I am able to do that!! I didn't say it was easy! 😂 Yeah, I'm a little wack-a-doodle, but saving on my energy bill, that's for sure! The furnace is electric, so that bill is scary! Sorry to say that I watched a video some other company posted. Your professionalist is head and shoulders above those guys. Your equipment is modern, clean, in good working order and organized. Plus you seem to enjoy your work. That can't be said about that other group. I love watching your transformations and hope you can continue the good work as long as you desire.
Try an old quilter’s hack to set the dyes in fabric, in this case carpets. After you soak the carpet down, add a teaspoon or two of salt and a quarter cup of white distilled vinegar to the watering can. Nothing else. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly, then add detergents. Try this on a carpet remnant first before you try it on a rug. Hello from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin USA.
