I was just complaining to myself how little time I had for all my personal projects and things I want to do, then went and watched 1.5 hours of a man cleaning a couple of rugs
I’m shocked about how dirty that rug was! Everytime a process was done, I was thinking “Right, it doesn’t get cleaner than this”. And then more dirt spilled from it! 😮 Great job!

I literally fall asleep watching these carpet cleaning videos. The sound of the water is so calming and it’s so satisfying to watch the carpet get cleaned.
That color change was a wild ride, start to finish. “Ew, it’s black! Ok it’s supposed to be brown. ...ok, maybe it’s supposed to be like two shades of gray. ...omg... that’s supposed to be green! ...OMG THERE IS A DESIGN!”
I love this cleaning video most of all. I've now watched it I think 5 or 6 times. It just fascinates me. The oily residue on the floor. The water not soaking in completely, evenly everywhere. Wondering if all the oil and dirt were going to clog up the drain. Worried the filth and oil would ruin the brand new floor, or Jakub's white boots. I had so many worries watching it the first time, but now I know the ending, and after, and so I'm not worried anymore, just completely fascinated by it all. No sign of Jakub being worried he couldn't get it clean! The color changes, as you said, Mimi, were extraordinary! I love that green, and that and the two sleepy eyes staring at me were mesmerizing! I love this video!
After all the filth in a mechanic shop there is NO structural damage to the carpet. This is a quality rug made to last for years, not a cheap Chinese rug from Dollar General. The detergents and water used to clean it is nothing compared to the resources needed to create it. It was worth saving.
Makes me crazy as rugs are never fully clean. Cannot understand why he only half way cleans underside once. Water is still full of dirt at end of each video. Yes cleaner but NOT fully clean as long as water it's tainted by dirt. Maybe 4th video I've watched...rugs never fully clean.

This could easily describe the healing process. You start with a lot of problems and as you start to clean you find they are not surface level they are very deep into each thread of your soul. Healing has many cycles of washing away the filth and grime and requires many techniques to cleanse you. But eventually your soul becomes whole again and beautiful but you have to maintain it. The issues can resurface but as long as you keep cleansing away the ugly you will stay whole and your goal is to never allow yourself to get that dirty again.
I LOVE watching this guy. He is such a perfectionist. I do wish he had a better grade on his floor - he works so hard pushing all that dirty water away. I am retired, and if I could get a part-time job doing this I would jump at it.
I think he purposely changed the slant on this floor, when he replaced the old one. I think I recall him saying something about wanting us to be able to see the dirty water before it went down the drain.

Whenever I watch these videos I wonder where these rugs come from, because the dirt that comes out is also a story. It would be really interesting to read a description with a short back story on some if not all of the rugs cleaned 👍💯

For a small rug, that was a whole lot of nastiness right there! I was stunned that there was such lovely coloring under all that major crud. I really thought it was a dark brown carpet. Now I'm trying to remember what original color my home carpeting is.

I jet washed two Chinese rugs last summer - my hubby thought I’d lost the plot during lockdown! But guess what - the gamble paid off. He’s just asked me what I was watching and thought I’d pinched this idea. However it was a huge gamble with the jet washer but now I’m hooked on this channel. Our rugs can stand more abuse than we realise and they’re clean after the battering👏🏻👏🏻☘️ 🎉
I swear this is what it felt like cleaning my cars floor mats from the previous owner. But I took lessons I learned from your channel, hose it down, scrub it, scrape and repeat until clean (I just wish I'd had a power washer, but shower head worked), and I'm so happy it looked so good, Thank you Jakob!
I think that people are just putting their rugs in the dirtiest places they can find for a month or six and then taking them to Jakub to challenge him to get the dirt out.
Personally, I think Jakub finds some of these rugs, or are given to him, to do with what he wants. He cleans them, then sells them, for a nice little side earner. Cant blame him really, if he does, considering the state of country finances today.

I don’t know why I find the most gratifying is the washing of the underside of the rug and seeing all of the dirt on the floor. I loooooove it when he pressure washes the dirt into the drain. But then more dirt comes from the rug and so he has to do a second cleaning on the underside!!! Filthy and sooo satisfying! Then he lifts the rug to turn it over and more dirty stuff on the floor!! Ahhhhhhh 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 I keep rewinding over and over between those two parts. I have watched all of LCC’s videos but this one I have watched SEVERAL times. I am so grateful for his hard work that he does so well! I have looked for another channel like his but I can’t find any.

This is my favorite part. The scrubbing of the underside then the scraping of the top side. The video is over. All I can say is just WOW. I knew it’d be great, but still get amazed at the results. He is truly doing what he is meant to be doing.
This has got to be the best job ever like mowing an overgrown lawn. Instant gratification with beautiful results. You took something that looked like it had been buried underground for a year and brought it back to life. Great 👍

My favorite part is ALWAYS the scraping after he has flipped it over and scrubbed and power washed the back. When he turns it back over and scrapes the dirt that has seeped through off the front.... so satisfying.

My favorite part is ALWAYS the scraping after he has flipped it over and scrubbed and power washed the back. When he turns it back over and scrapes the dirt that has seeped through off the front.... so satisfying.
