Today another video showing washing a very dirty carpet. This time it is a carpet that has been stored incorrectly for several months. due to moisture, a fungus appeared on it. Black underside and difficult to remove and green moss tarnish on top and lots of stains 🙀. Fortunately, after using the right cleaning agent, we managed to save it and it doesn't even have any trace or smell 💪😀. I invite you to watch.

Jakub you did a beautiful job restoring the rug. As much as I enjoy seeing your smiling face I worry about your health when I see you clean some of these rugs. Black mold is especially nasty and can make you very sick. Then there is the dust when you run the carpets through beater. Maybe a N95 mask or better to protect your lungs for the future. As a nurse I have had many patients with work related respiratory issues; my father included. Your followers enjoy what you do, and want to continue with you for as long as you choose to delight us. Jakob is "restoring" a piece of art, I love this. Any hand-woven carpet is just that, a work of art. Plus the new world carpets too, I have both. I lived in Iran and purchased carpets there before the Shah left due to Khomeini. Keeping them clean and fresh to last for many, many years. Thank you, Jakob, you are an exceptional person. Can someone explain why watching this is so addictive? Never thought I would be binging rug cleaning videos.
I imagine there is a 20 letter word for it somewhere in psychology... i believe its because of the world upset, and this cleaning of things from messy to georgeous is satisfying a desire to clean up the world around us.....im no expert..

Jakub has another miracle in cleaning! I did not think those terrible stains (and smell?) would go away. What chemicals take away the mold and mildew? I have a small rug at my front door which gets mold. Bleach nor peroxide stops the mold. If you do not say because it is a work secret, that's ok ☺ I love your amazing work!
You know, anyone else would have been satisfied with the way it looked but Jakub doesn’t accept good enough. His demands on himself are greater than the demands of anyone else. And that’s why we are all inspired by this young man.

I agree with a previous commenter. I do hope you wear some sort of breathing protection when you do your work off camera and are around the dust, mold and chemicals for a prolonged period of time. Nice job on this rug and your attention to detail!
